it is getting to that time of year where

http://ffchat.wix.com/chat

can come in handy
(it has been quite dead these days myelf included not going on as busy lately)

but pm's are one thing but i personally love also using the chat can say and discuss a lot more in a short space of time rather then pm'ing over a couple of days

though i still use pm  and will reply and sent some ofc just saying

RaisyDaisy

Seems like a few teams are in need of a starting defender

We've had several discussions already with clubs about Houli and TMac

We are in a position to possibly let one of them go (Most likely Houli) but we're looking for a starting mid or fwd in return, so hit me up if you're interested, because I reckon he won't be available for too long!

My Chumps

Bit of a more detailed analysis of our trade list to facilitate discussions: these are the guys we're receptive to offers for - of course a lot of the blokes listed are still very valuable, and everybody would have to be paid their worth - and the guys not listed are still somewhat moveable.

Def: J Geary, C O’Shea, B Smedts, W Schofield, N Drummond, L Plowman, M Dea

Mid: JP Kennedy, D Tyson, B Acres, N Graham, J Toumpas, G Horlin-Smith, S Colquhoun, B Grey

Ruck: T Nankervis, L Pierce

Fwd: T Hawkins, S Crameri, D Lang, S Reid, C Bird, T Broomhead, M Honeychurch, G Rohan, T Garner, J Freeman

Rookie List: C Hewett (Port), S Murray (Syd), B Lynch (WB), J Smith (Melb), P Lucey (Geel)

My Chumps

Imagine how MAD you'd all be if JPK ended up at Dublin! God! Can't think of a worse scenario! Better get those offers in or boy-oh-boy,

Pretty sure "bad for the competition" is a reason to block trades.

Do it so Holzman can sook then ragequit.

I know people tend to get impatient to start trading...

So I wonder Purps if it is a good time to start of any proposed rule changes while the finals are on? That way, if new rules are approved before the Grand Final, trading could start right away?

Trading really shouldn't happen until the rules for next year are finalised IMO

Just like the AFL trade talks happen while the season is going on :)

And as for JPK going to Dublin - I am aware of the proposed trade and I can make a case for either side, but I think Holz is crazy giving up as much as he would be

I feel like you underestimate super premos like Fyfe/JPK :P

RaisyDaisy

I don't underestimate them at all. Maybe you over value them?

JPK is a 110-113 mid, so I will value him at that, and Fyfe is a 125 mid so I will value him at that, and then use the same valuations for the other players involved in the discussion, as well as factoring in age etc

JPK has 3, maybe 4 gun years left

Weits is a 10+ year defender who could easily be averaging 90+ within the next 2-3 years, while Kennedy is last years Pick 6 and then there is this years Pick 17 too. Seems like a lot for JPK, but like I said I understand how both teams like it because JPK ensures Dublin remains the powerhouse for the following years, while those youngsters are exactly the path Cape Town are going down
