Even Dublin doesn't have a team above average in every position. Mine is

Omac averaged 69 so like 0.5 away from the 72nd best defender.
Weits averaged 68 so 1 point below the 72nd best defender, but that was in his first year carrying an injury.

I  obviously smash it in the mids if 86.5 being the worst (mines like 105) and the average being 99+ mine would be pushing 110.

Ruck well well above average

My forward obviously beat the average and the 72nd best of 65. Well Daw beats that.

Both the utilities are top 72 (and the M7)

so while technically correct for last year, given the defender retirings alone I now have a whole sqaud of top 72s.

What are using to justify your grading's of A,B etc?

Is it just A for above the position average and B for below?

How does that stack up? Is that A's all over except B for Captain?

so yeah my F4 and D4 are below average.

not sure anyone will ever have a whole team above average. Every team has some weakens.

that is unless Jack gets DPP and then Weits keeps going. Or a trade a super gun to fix up D4 F4.

Which is good. An even comp would have a mix of 2 above, 2 below in every position except ruck, and one each on the bench. Obviously it matters how far above or below the players are but it's still interesting.

Isn't your entire midfield below avg from meow's numbers? (except maybe Lewis)

You'd be above the worst avg for each position though.

I think my only guys above average are JPK, Pittard, and Hawkins. But I'm ok with that considering the guys under include Mills, Prestia, Hunter, Miller, Blicavs, Blacres, Lmac, Collins who should all get better. Don't talk to me about rucks though :P

Also, looks like I'm above the worst avg in each position which is handy.

I'd be looking for a half-decent ruck in return. According to meow's stats they need to average over 70. So I'd be looking for just about a 75 ruck.

Mainly looking for mids.

Basically the whole point was that

81 ave Def
93 ave Mid (if we're going with 6)
87 ave Ruc
77 ave Fwd

are all worth roughly the same based on averages. The rucks are skewed due to the low amount and wild variation so disregard them, everyone knows they're worth more. Teams asking for a 85 average forward in exchange for their 95 average mid are slightly off, since their mid is just 2 above average while the forward is 8 above.

There is literally 1 team with a worse captain option, for a team aiming for a flag your captain option is certainly an F :P
