Rich > McVeigh from this point on wards isn't worth the trade is it? (Feels side way's, McVeigh finds the ball more & doesn't get tagged)

For the sake of getting an extra premo for the bye I say good trade. McVeigh has never been such a poor performer, there's every chance he comes storming home. At worst they average the same.

Yeah that's what i was thinking, he seems to be finding the ball a bit however maybe just DE% has been letting him down. To your point i might take a punt on this trade, worst that can happen they average the same but McVeigh has more upside & is a proven premo.

I would do this too, tbh. McVeigh has a seriously strong history and not once has Rich has been a premo. Best case scenario McVeigh averages 100-105 and Rich averages 80, which is not that likely but certainly well within the realms of possibility for mine

Rich at best 80? He's averaging a tick under 85, More like 90-95 imo

Also Brissies draw opens up a bit

Suns, GWS, Essendon, Power, Adelaide, Carlton, Geelong, Saints

GWS and Adelaide probably the only good/restrictive sides

Mhm, interesting. Still gonna trade him though, need to grab Heater at some stage.

I've been a little dissapointed by Rich. Starts games so well and fades every single game, plus his DE% has been very unlike him.

I'd go as far to say that if he could clean up his disposal (surprising given he's such a beautiful kick), he'd be averaging 90 right now.
Not saying I didn't expect an 85 avg but his scope for improvement is so evident but he can just never get there. That's the dissapointing part.

Yeah that syntax was flowered, my bad. What I meant was the best case for trading McVeigh to Rich - the one that would most justify it - while not extremely unlikely, is that one in which McVeigh goes 105 and Rich goes 80.

More likely McVeigh goes about 95 and Rich about 85 in my opinion.

Fades.... you mean by fades, he gets a tag. Easiest player in the competition to tag out of a game. damaging when you let him go, but most sides catch on quick...

RaisyDaisy

Only 5 games from 13 has he gone above 90, with a season high of only 114

Definitely wouldn't want that in my side

Most owners will be stuck with him at D6 which isn't horrible, but not great. If you've got the trades then dump him for sure

He's scoring just as expected like every other year. Like Shaun Atley, the breakout is never coming!

Hello Heath Shaw :)

Perthwildcat

Wells for Buddy perhaps, pocket the 100,000

I just don't think Wells can keep it up with his injury history.  Could be a bad decision but live by the sword I guess..

shaker

I'm thinking Wells out to he has been great but seems to be getting sore and injured more as the season goes on , turn him into Parker then can go Ruggles to Laird to finish my backs

Pre selection night          OUT        P Cripps,    J Weitering,    M Barlow              IN         J McVeigh,    L Montagna,     R Sloane

$89,500     5 Trades   left  after  trading  plus 1 forward  (Dahlhaus) and 1 Defender ??   to go.  Things will get very interesting over the next 9 weeks.

Really should play it safe and hang on to Weitering, Cripps and Barlow for a while but fortune  sometimes favours the brave. Not sure about the first person who said that. Hope things finished well for him, or her.   19 on the field this week.    Cheers guys and gals         :)
