I believe the answer is yes, if you have the E on Sam Collins

You are correct. So long as he is emergency and you have a non player on the field if he is in the top 18 scores it will count

Done the exact same with Brand and Mcdonald. Brand being named turned that loophole possible.

Whereas if he wasn't named, you would have just played Collins anyway and not have to loophole him :P

I've got the problem you don't expect to have this week- who do I take off for Collins? Got a full premo backline playing this week:

Shaw, Doch, Laird, Simmo, Bartel, Rance

Makes the most sense to bench Rance, but he is playing against the Lions

Used Lee on ground to get Collins.
If Brand didn't get a spot I wouldn't have loopholed and would've fielded Collins anyway. Just hope all other defenders play now.
