I came to peace with the fact weeks ago that I won't be getting him this year - just don't have the funds and trades for him which is why I will be finishing my backline with 450-500k defenders

I was going to get Docherty last week, but flowered up and missed the start of the game, so got Monty in fwds instead. Worked out ok and with Menadue going large I can definately afford Docherty now and Neale next week. ;D

Rance will come good. It was always a risk to bring him in against a poor team like Brisbane. Being a key back he relies on opportunity and a lot of ball coming into the def 50 for intercept marks etc. the lions were piss farting around with the ball and trying to hit up the leading forward on the weekend, so there wasn't a lot of opps for Rance to impose himself.
