I'm doing all I can to bring in Docherty next week. It might mean going Zorko over Selwood for my last mid spot. I think he is so far above any other Backman, it's worth spending the cash. Hoping for quiet weeks from Selwood/Zorko. Oh, how I wish one of them had the bye this week, as their BEs are so low.

I think Simpson is almost a must, and I am looking to get him for my final upgrade. Certainly I think he's ahead of Rance and Bartel and should average close to 105 from here. But Dochers has surprised me and if he's going to go 105+ he might be a lock

Can´t help but think Docherty is way overpriced.
I´d rather get in Rance at $100k cheaper and get a Lachie Neale at $550k ($30k cheaper than Docherty is at the moment) after his bye.
Rance will still average around the 95 mark for the rest of the season and Docherty 110-115 absolute max

Last six rounds-120, 147, 135, 121, 79, 141. Unbelievable form for a backman. Can he keep it up? Who knows? High BE, but if he keeps it up, then it puts me ahead of the pack, as my mids are loaded already, and should be able to just afford any mid around $580,000, if all goes to plan......but it never does.

Im looking at Docherty, Boyd, Bartel and Pittard for my last 2 defensive spots. Almost certain to grab Docherty with the form his in. Then its a toss up between the other 3. Got my questions over Boyd as to how he will score once JJ comes back after the doggies bye. Also even though everyone gets a rest during the bye, do any of you guys think bartel or boyd will get rested again at some stage in the run home?

I reckon Jimmy probably will. I think Boyd won't but it's certainly possible.

I currently have Shaw, Laird, Simpson and Bartel. I will be bringing in Rance due to his current price and I will most certainly splash out and grab Docherty for my final spot, despite being overpriced.

I'll be going DBJ > Rance next week which leaves me with one back spot left to upgrade.

Collins is currently my D6 with Brand and Lee on the bench.

After the byes though I plan on trading Brand > Uebergang (B/F) as I have Adams on my forward bench so I will use Adams (B/F) at D6 until I can afford to bring in Doc/Bartel as my final back upgrade.

Was just the way it turned out for me just before the byes as I downgraded McDonald-Tippa to Lee so Collins became D6 last week.

I will be bringing Adams up to D6 (currently F7) once the byes are over though by going Brand > Uebergang as I don't trust Collins at D6 long term.

Adams will do till I can upgrade Collins or Lee > Doc or Bartel.

Not just the last 2 weeks. Has only really had one low score all year

Great buy at 455K I reckon and every chance I get him as my last defender after his bye

DBJ will be Laird this week. But will have McVeigh at D6 and will probably turn him  into my first luxury trade and grab a Gibbo or Rance after the byes.
