Played this game for many years and I'd be filthy if I lost to someone with such a huge advantage. Just has to be a level playing field for all.

This raises the question though.. Is SC rankings really credible?
Currently ranked just outside the top 1,000 but is my real ranking 800 because there are 200 duplicate teams in front of me?
Surely in this day and age there are enough systems and tech to quality control your account details and match them up against other to find duplicates?
What did tech are they using? Are SC just writing the rankings down on paper?

Yes, it really only matters with the top 10 because of prize money but what if someone was 11th with a week left, they looked at the teams above and traded in a POD to get into the prize money, only to find there was two duplicate teams in front of them?
While the above is unlikely, the point I'm getting back at is its pretty concerning that SC only just picked up on this.. After the players of the game did the research and had to call it out on social media!

JB - this isn't a question of whether to play SC or not. I'm simply opening up a conversation regarding the credibility of the rankings.
If you entered the lotto each week, paid money for it and you were told in the terms and conditions that you were only able to enter once, yet you found out others were entering 2-3 times, wouldn't you question the credibility? Wouldn't you want answers and possibly your money back?
The same theory applies to SC. Yes, this is a 'free to enter' game, however a lot of people pay money for SC gold, HS subscription etc in order to gain information for their trade plans to win the overall prize.
Shouldn't they be held accountable to provide a fair game in which everyone has an equal chance at winning?

I'm guessing by your aggressive 'don't play then' comment, you have duplicate teams as with that attitude you're endorsing this behavior.

All I'm doing is opening up the conversation regarding the fairness and credibility of the game.

I find it odd teams don't get culled more easily seeing as the people with duplicate teams would likely use the same IP at least once. Particularly those who use the same details on multiple accounts.

I'd guess it isn't strictly enforced because it'd probably get rid of 10% of the community and there isn't a great deal of downside to it sans actual prize winners.

Then there's the issue of trying to deal with the 2nd teams which are teams of wives (and husbands), dogs and all the like.

It could be far more strictly enforced and it wouldn't take a great deal of resources.
