No, if getting Bontempelli costs you a further trade just get Gray.

If your 2nd trade is a rookie at maxed price down to a decent 1 coming through ie Trengrove that sounds fine.

If you were talking about a quick cash grab from a rookie who has only made like 100k down to a dubious looking rookie id say no way

I would be going for Jelwood if I didn't have him already, but Ward and Rocky both have slightly lower owner % if that matters to you - Jelly 15.6%, Rockliff 13.1%, Ward 12.4% - Parker has been a bit average lately, I'd wait so see womething from him and he's pretty common at 41.2% - at this point might be a good POD to not have him!
