I genuinely can't believe this post. Parker has shown he's able to go on big scoring runs in the past. Yes he's been very poor recently but whose to say he won't come back after his break and start dominating again. Remember - this was a guy who averaged 130 over 6 weeks. That's no fluke, he has serious talent. Surely you have bigger problems than an out of form premo? !

Yeah but he is no use to us injured and playing alot of time up forward now that Tippet is out like I stated in my original post.

I don´t think that he is injured and I can see Sam Reid coming in and playing that forward role.
Don´t trade premiums unless you have a full 22 premo team (which no one has yet)

Didn't Reid get re-injured in the 2's on the weekend?  :-\

Yep out for 3 with a calf

Just what I thought.

I can't help but think that Parker is going to play forward alot more from now on with Tippet out which will affect his scoring.  :-X

Grufflez

I followed the crowd getting Parker...I don't like the crowd, they smell!
I'll see how he is going in 3-4 weeks and whether or not i can afford the trade.

Would be wise to wait till he strings a few bags together for a few price rises.

Blues Blues Blues

In round 3 I made the call to trade in Titchell instead of Parker, and whilst Titchell was 'OK' for the following weeks I was kicking myself in the nuts watching Parker tearing it up every week. Now I feel more at peace.

His another Hall type player, unfortunately need to hold @ this stage until rest of my lines are finished - His also saved by Nic Nat & Dahl injured requiring injury trades - Worse case he sits @ F8 by years end.

He's only MID eligible.

So to be clear Judd Magic - are you trading out Parker this week?

I´ll bet my bottom dollar that he is in your team for the rest of the year barring injury.

hang on how is he a hall type player?

surely not talking AFL.

Parker is an inside beast, Hall is an outside ball winner. for that reason i am far less worried about him scoring.

I assume your talking hot start then fading away. Parker went 129 151 in round 5 and 6.

he has gone 100+ 2/4 this month so not going terrible.

He went 129 on GWS at the start of the year then 59 last week in which all of Sydney struggled. He has gone 108 99 the last 2 years I would keep the faith.

Hall type player in terms of his scoring has been up & down like a Yo-Yo this year - Both started the season on fire, then have faded away & not produced consistency. Parker as a inside mid should not be spitting out scores of 59, 67 & 75 etc. (With a hard tag then yeah it could happen & explain why, this hasn't been the case thou.)

Perhaps i shouldn't have brought Hall into the mix with Parker, given it's his first breakout type year & his scoring is pretty much expected, but Parker on the other hand needs to step up a bit - I don't expect 120's week in week out, but the above scores are worse then some mid rookies.

Bully

Parker will be up and down for the rest of the year, could easily turn in a 130 this week but then a 75 the week after. He's settling in  to his historical average, will be somewhere around the 105 mark by the end of the year.

Huttabito

Had Parker locked all pre-season and forked out an extra 30k the day before lockout for Selwood instead. Was seething the early rounds for my decision but after 12 weeks, Selwood has just surpassed Parker in total points and is 63k dearer.

Geelong play Brisbane in SC finals were Selwood scored 142 against earlier this year. Sydney play North who Parker scored 67 against. If those scores can be replicated in Rd 22, I will feel greatly satisfied with my decision.

I might keep him now just so I can get the remaining premos in first that I need to finish my team with.

Bringing in Rance and Lids next week so then I'll only need to upgrade D6 and F6 to complete my team.

This includes having Adams at D7/F7 bench cover and Kerridge as M9/F7 cover.

Parkers really testing my patience though. I would love to get rid of him now as I can't see him improving from here.

Mat0369

If I didn't have Parker I would be bringing him in after his bye. He is priced ridiculously low right now and is averaging more then Priddis/Gray who a lot are looking to bring in.

I have more confidence in Priddis and Gray over Parker to be honest.
