Parker. Time to go?

Really considering giving Parker the flick this week.

Has been average of late and 59 SC on the weekend was a disgrace!

I don't have Selwood and Rockcliff and both are going to go up heaps after this week so thinking now is the time to go Parker > Selwood. Parker is also going to lose a flower load of cash so wont be able to trade him to anyone soon if he keeps stinking it up.

Also I am thinking Parker will spend alot more time up forward now with Tippet set to miss a while due to injury.

It helps with my bye structure too as I have too many round 14 mids out if I keep Parker.

Does this sound crazy? What's everyone else doing with Parker?

Just can't see him being  top 10 mid this year.  :-\

Exactly mate.

And with all the above points I have made above I really think its time for Parker to go.

Could make up alot of points over everyone who keeps Parker by trading him to Selwood instead.

Plus I know from the past that when Tippet gets injured, Parker tends to play alot more forward to fill in the hole left by Tippet.

I think I've talked myself into going Parker > Selwood.

Yep I just have to keep putting up with him and hope he gets better

In 2-4 weeks time I should be able to turn Petracca into a prem M9/F7 and I will then loophole Parker at M9 where possible

Had Parker in Draft League last year and was well aware of the roller coaster ride. If I had him I would certainly be making the trade. Ironically, many were tossing up between Parker & Hall at the start of the season, looks like both have stuttered to the finish line. Only two tons in the last 6 games is awful for a mid, you may as well field Petracca on those numbers.

To get Selwood or Rockcliff though it will only cost you $30-$50k so not really that much to upgrade to a more proven midfield premo IMO.

Just don't see any merit keeping Parker from here on end.

I'm really regretting getting Parker in now mate. He doesn't have the premo mid scoring history compared to Selwood/Rocky.

I brought Parker in when Fyfe got injured. I admit I was sucked into his big scores at the time too.

Who would be a better replacement for Parker out of Selwood and Rockliff though?

Selwood is the more durable of the 2 but Rocky doesn't get tagged like how Selwood does.

Thoughts everyone?

Still not prepared to concede Selwood isn't downhill skiing atm :P
