2016 North Verses South Challenge - Brave Heart Shield

That is the plan -

Team 1 North: Badgers, Hawks, Hedgehogs
Team 2 North: Leeches, Rams, Magic
Team 3 South: Knighrs, Giants

Team 1 South: Hurricanes, Werewolves, Owls
Team 2 South: Breakers, Bunnies, Dragons
Team 3 South: Hoods, Steins

Coach of the first named team will be Responsible for naming he team next week:

I will start a separate thread to list available players and team lodgements.

If the groupings are:
- 1, 4, 7
- 2, 5, 8
- 3, 6

Then wouldn't I be grouped with the Leeches and Knights? Or have you changed the groupings?

Has always been Top 3 placed teams from North and South go to team 1

The next 3 placed teams for each to to team

and the final 2 to complete.

Happy to look at changing if that is the consensus.

I was just going off what you had here in the OP:

South currently hold the Brave Heart Shield

North Teams are Hedgehogs, Magic, Hawks, Badgers, Rams, Knights, Leeches and Giants
South Teams are Werewolves, Hurricanes, Hoods, Bunnies, Owls, Breakers, Steins, Dragons.


Based on Ladder Positions at end of round 12 Split into the 2 Conferences North and South.
Teams 1,4,7 will select team from their players to comprise Team 1 for each conference
Teams 2,5,8 will select team from their players to comprise Team 2 for each conference
Teams 3,6 will select team from their players to comprise team 3 for each conference.
That is select the Team form the three teams list. Coach of first named team will be responsible for naming the Team.

So, for North, Badgers are first, Leeches are 4th, Knights are 7th

I don't mind what the groupings are, just want to make sure it's clear what we're actually doing

Confusing myself as well. That was rule in 2014 and last year did not follow but as i posted in the OP I will stick by it.

So teams will be:

Team 1 North Badgers, Leeches, Knights
Team 1 South Hurricanes, Breakers, Hoods

Team 2 North Hawks, Rams, Giants
Team 2 South Werewolves, Bunnies. Steins.

Team 3 North Hedgehogs, Magic
Team 3 South Owls, Dragons.
