The powers of Darkness have infiltrated my defences: Dalhaus gone! Tippett gone! Parker as good as gone (I think he may actually be working for the enemy). Pvt. Goldstein is wanting to leave in the worst way, and it's showing. while Corporal Franklin, is another one on the enemy's payroll, I suspect. Thank heavens for (trumpets please)  CAPTAIN DANGERFIELD and his faithful sidekick CORPORAL SELWOOD!  WE LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY! In addition to these two Superheroes, Sgt. Ablett is on his way back from the dead and has brought with him a small force to be reckoned with: agents Zac 'teacher's pet' Merrett, Irish Sam Docherty and his wingman Kade the JADE Simpson,  Heater "Gimme the ball...or I'll go home" Shaw, plus Chopsticks Martin, Razor Rance, just call me Tippa da Rippa, and Jimmy, did you shave today, Bartel!  Not to mention, on loan from the Sicilian Mafia, LLLLLLLIBBERATORRREEE!!!!! and his young gun for hire Bugsy PETRACCAAAA!!!!! Wait, they've found Pvt Trengove, he somehow managed to return from behind enemy lines while Pvt Brown, thank heavens, has finally volunteered for a suicide mission.  HOOORAYYY!!!  Now a moment of silence, please, for some of the heroes who didn't make it:

Lt. Naitanui, What's that? He's been found alive? Well, he'd better start playing like it.

Pvt Hall, enough said, pinch him, if he screams, shoot him.

In memorium:
Conor Menadue...enlisted with the enemy, a plus for us, now he's their problem.

Capt. Pendlebury.  Lost in the heat of battle?  Looked everywhere for him?  Did they check the backline?

Pvt. Laird:  what, they're still waiting for his stupid knee to heal?

Corp. Crouch:  He's a deserter.  But they think he may be hiding out in the woods?  Good, leave him there.

Nice work ronl,  funniest thing I've read for a long time.

Sounds very similar to my SC journey, although Pvt Brown checked out a few weeks earlier at close to 300k for me.

I wish I had CORPORAL SELWOOD in my Squadron as Dangers wingman, but be thankful that you didn't enlist
Pvt Yeo Yeo in your defence.

He's more of a stunt pilot, up and down, around and around and even refused ORDERS to fly one week, with tonsilitis
