Hi Guys, I have the unfortunate pleasure of having Stefan Martin in my team.

My Rucks are Gawn Martin and Grimley.

And my Fwds are Dusty,Barlow,Zorko Hall,Kerridge Petracca.

Im thinking of getting Tippett for DPP or would i be better off getting Goldstein. Its always good to be able to swing players around for DPP at the end of the year with injuries and no trades but then Goldstein is a better scorer.

went thru this myself and looked at tippett lycett and now thinking sinclair.tippett injured and out.   hwnabout change.org petition to Leppitsch.   drop trent west and let martin score

If Tippett was to miss a significant amount of time, I'm wondering the same about Sinclair.

Should still be cheap-ish, but if he's playing number one ruck and resting forward he could be great coverage. At least until Martin/Leppa (hopefully) pull their finger out

GoLions

Please tell me you got Goldy!

Grufflez

was gonna hold dahl & tippet if both were less than 4..

Tippet at least 6 weeks, GONE!

Yeah thinking of Sinclair as a good F7 with ruck cover which would free up cash, can get Boyd via dpp or get Buddy

Nankervis will come in for Tippett and at $226k is $100k+ cheaper than Sinclair

Sinclair's injury riddled season is also a worry

Injury riddled season? He's only missed one game, and his last 2 weeks have been 81 and 90

JS 100%. Much better option than Nankervis

Missed R4, got injured against the Lions and another tream (cant remember who)

3 big scores against 116 v Blues (before they were flying, 81 v Suns (in a stoppage game in a swamp) and GWS (as the only ruck for a half)

he will share the ruck duties this weekend with either Nankervis or Naismith

From what I heard from Tom Harley on the radio today it sounded like this is a maximum 6 week injury. If it is more like 4-5, maybe it is worth holding... Best 18 bye scoring means I can probably get away with hiding him at R3 or on a fwd bench.

The whole Stef/West situation is one one the most unforeseen possible downfalls for a fantasy premo but even from an actual football point of view I do not see how it benefits Brissy on field. One could argue that West has earnt his chance but if he is not good enough to oust Stef then he shouldn't be selected & if he is Stef should be dropped. Their injury list is not that extensive so no real reason there. The only other reason could be a strong body to help out the younger forward KPPs maybe but surely they are man enough to compete without that. I mean neither present a genuine forward threat so you are basically using 2 players to achieve what Stef can achieve on his own. For Stef owners (I was one but I couldn't take it anymore) there may be a glimmer of hope cos I reckon he played 70%+ in the Ruck for 2nd half against Freo so that maybe a sign that the tandem ruck combo is about to come to an end.

If cash league is one's priority, and if finals look secure, then this is very sensible thinking.
