New York give: Pick 10, Tom Nicholls and Ben Griffiths
New Dehli give: Mitch Duncan and Pick 24

Wouldn't say that 2nd one was a massive win by any stretch, but I'd much rather Duncan over what we gave up
Except when you look at that linking trade and Nicholls turns into Wallis and Crouch

Fair to say our worst are the cloke trade and the Stef trade. Thats really hurting

Ricochet

Was really hard to pick the biggest win but probably most happy with this one tbh

NDT Give: 50 + 76
NDT Get:  46

Good: We gave up Darling (77 average at 23) and Walters (86 average at 25) to Holz for Hogan (86 average at 21) and Docherty (110 average at 22)

Bad: But we also picked up Jaeger (R.I.P ;_;) and pick 30-ish for Fyfe within a couple weeks of that, so you win some you lose some.

Ugly: Oh, and we tried to get Hooker (out all season), Bell (languishing with the lions), and pick 8 for Ward (111 average), but apparently we were winning that trade by so incredibly much that we had to kick in Jenkins too (95 average)
You don't know how incredibly angry I am with this.

Give us Jenkins back.  :P

Ricochet

Went through our trades and there weren't many massssssive wins. Quite a few that benefited us, but also benefited the other team so not ridiculously one sided

NDT Give: Stevens + Trengove
NDT Get:  Scully + N12

Scully has been very important for us this year and N12 helped us get Sidey

NDT give: N39 + N88
Tokyo give: Seb Ross

Grabbed Seb before his breakout fairly cheaply

NDT Give: Mitch Duncan and Pick 24
New York Give: Pick 10, Tom Nicholls and Ben Griffiths

It's funny you put this one up actually RD. It really kickstarted NDTs rebuild. And really its
95ave young mid  + pick 24  for
85ave young ruck + Top 10 Pick + 75ave fwd

Think that's actually in our favour
:P

NDT Give: Michie
NDT Get:  Bugg

Bugg has been pretty important for us down back

NDT Give: Warnock
NDT Get:  Myers + LDelaney

NDT Give: Myers
NDT Get:  JLloyd

Getting Lloyd for spud Warnock was handy. But Myers also has decent ability to score so could go alright when he returns next year

Who did you guys get with Pick 10? Can't remember

Nicholls is handy, but so is Duncan.

Don't really rate Griff as a long term prospect

Should be a reparations system in place for shower like this tbh, we've had our team hurt through negged trades at least half a dozen times the last few seasons, if not closer to double figures

Hellopplz

We've had a few doozies over the years. Here's a few that Daz touched on and others.

PNL gives: L. Dahlhaus + T. Gillies FOR J. Harbrow + T. Dennis-Lane
At this stage thought Dahl would plateau at 80ish mid and Harbrow I thought would be over injuries and go 80 as a defender. How wrong I was :'(.

PNL gives: #41 + T. Mzungu FOR E. Kavanagh + J. Brennan
This was highly contentious at the time. After a few years, guess who's the only one left in a team from the players in here? Mzungu :P.

PNL gives: #4 + #23 FOR J. Patton + P. Davis
After Patton's first knee and was set to come back the next season :'(. Davis is a solid back depth but yeah, pretty bad trade.

PNL gives: M. Pavlich FOR C. Enright
This arguably was a big win for us. Our forwards have always been more steady than our backs and Enright is such a rock down there for us so have loved him past 2.5 seasons.

PNL gives: H. Grundy + A. Corr FOR A. Morabito + #80
Dang salary cap >:(.

PNL gives: #69 + #80 FOR T. Campbell
Ily Campbell, saves us from playing OOP ruck and he's actually solid for 70+.

PNL gives: K. Simpson + J. Butcher + #87 FOR L. Hodge + C. Moller + #32
Last year Hodge was huge for us and Jarrod Garlett (#32) was getting games so looked like we won it last year. Fast forward to this year and Kade is still going while Hodge been riddled with injuries. Funny how things can change like that in a year.

meow meow

Tom Scully - 84 average up to 99
Koby Stevens - 87 to 89 but has missed 6 games and doesn't look like returning any time soon.

Zorko - 100 up to 113
Griff - 90 up to 97 but has missed 6 games. The best forward in his prime for an old mediocre sometimes injured mid.

Shuey - 98 and 98 again
McVeigh - 100 down to 82. Traded a mid in his prime for a has been.

Pick 2 for Jobe Watson and Jack Trengove (via pick 12). Hasn't been so bad considering I gave up Elliott and Hrovat to get 2 and neither of them have played either. Will hurt long term when Elliott returns and pick 2 becomes a gun.

Add in Sandi missing all but 1 game (107 and his replacement scores about 60),  Mitchell dropping 9 points, Montagna dropping 11 points, Dickson dropping 12 points and Heartless dropping a whopping 23 points and it's easy to see that we're struggling big time.

seriously jukes you say this in every thread that is remotely close to doing with trades

about what was negged and what you had to add

so in trades you come out on top do they get changed too in your system or no because it doesn't suit moscow....lol

Holz

Got 3 fantastic trades

1. Dale Thomas + Troy Chaplin for Joel Selwood + Lachie Hunter is my best

2. jaeger Omeara +31 for Fyfe was pretty great though

3. Picks 1, 56 and 74, Scott D. Thompson and Adam Schneider for Travis Boak, Brandon Ellis and Alex Rance

Lachy Neale for Josh Green is probably my worst.

Walters for Yarran could be terrible is Yarran never plays but i think he will.

My most annoying trade reject was probably the 5 way trade in which i was winning too much then end result was I kept Hansen but moved down from 3 to 5 in the order so missed out on Hopper. Really hoping Kennedy and Hansen can come in soon so i dont feel as bad.

this is the best trade ever though

Pacific Gives: Pick 7, Drew Petrie and Lee Spurr
Pacific Receives: Picks 5, 45 and Tom Rockliff

Ricochet

Was that when NDT gave up Tom Rockliff?  :'(

correct

you guys did slightly better though because Cairo also stuffed up big time

New Delhi Gives: Picks 8, 45, and Tom Rockliff
New Delhi Receives: Pick 7, Leigh Montagna, Clinton Young and Lee Spurr

Reason: I confirm this. We were always going to trade Rockliff. Pick 8 I didn't want to lose but I get pick 7 back ;D. I am looking for mature players and these 3 fit the deal. Spurr is 25, Montagna is 28 and Young is 26. They will fit in nicely to the New Delhi Tigers team

Cairo Gives: Pick 5, Leigh Montagna and Clinton Young
Cairo Receives: Pick 8 and Drew Petrie

Monty smashed Petrie.

Toga

Of the trades made while I've been in charge of 'Jing:

THE GOOD:
NDT give: Tom Bell
Beijing give: N39 + Tim O'Brien
Easily my best trade in charge at Beijing. 39 (Cavka) has since retired and O'Brien is now back on our list (and getting games!) after being delisted by whoever ended up with him. Meanwhile Bell went on to average 90 following this trade and was used to get our new skipper Callan Ward in before falling back to his ~60avg of previous years. This trade is the one that set up Beijing's improvement this year!

Beijing trade: Matthew Kreuzer + Taylor Hunt + James Stewart
Beijing receive: Dayne Zorko + Ben Newton
Looking back now we've won this trade big time. Zorko has been the best forward in the game this year (have to admit I didn't expect this much improvement!) while Kreuzer is at about a 70avg. The rest of the deal are just bit piece players who are fairly irrelevant.

Would also consider this a pretty convincing win based on this year, but think it will even out once Hooker comes back.
Beijing trade: Cale Hooker, Tom Bell, Ben Newton + Pick 8
Moscow trade: Callan Ward + Josh Jenkins
Getting Jenkins as steak knives worked out alright!

THE BAD:
Beijing give: Pick #5 ID + Sam Naismith + John Butcher
PNL give: Matthew Jaensch + Clay Smith + Cameron Shenton
This is easily the worst trade but I'd argue that it would've turned out even had Jaensch not done his ACL and retired. We only got about 5 games of use out of him, while Pick #5 was used on Peter Wright. Probably would have picked a Jordan De Goey type if we kept the pick who would be a handy addition to our midfield.

Beijing give: Elliot Yeo + Robbie Tarrant + Max Duffy
Rio de Janeiro give: Jared Polec
Tarrant who we thought was just steak knives has turned out to be a very good defender for Rio. Yeo is probably ahead of Polec as well at this point, especially given last year was pretty much a write-off for Polec with his injury. Still a lot of water to go under the bridge for these two players and I think long-term they'll end up similar, but who would've thought Robbie Tarrant would be the big decider in making this trade a fail for us two years down the track.
