Browns are looking good with 8 picks in the first two rounds of the next two drafts. But please Jukes don't refer to Brock as a potentially solid QB ever again :P I expect them to trade one or two of those early picks for Jimmy G. If they do that and draft Garrett then I think they could be a much improved team.

Still trying to get my head around the Gilmore signing for the Pats - did not expect Belichick to thrown that much money at CB, but he's probably the best CB on the market and we can still keep Butler. Does push Logan Ryan out the door though who played well this year, just saw that he signed with Tennessee.

He is a potential solid quarterback though - there's a reason he was getting paid so much by Houston. He wasn't good in 2016 and he probably won't be too great in 2017 either, but down the line he could definitely develop into a solid QB - he's an upgrade on RG3 at least.

Garrett is being extremely overhyped though, he's no Bosa at all.

Actually look at the stats of our other rostered QB
Last 17 games (14 starts)
4051 yards, 63% completion rate, 7.1 y/a, 25 TDs against 7 picks, ~94 passer rating

Better than having to rely on some guy from the middle of nowhere, North Dakota State

You guys keep taking the Bears sloppy thirds and fourths, I guess anything is an improvement over Blaine Gabbert.

And Osweiller is turrible, it isn't even a discussion, he isn't good and got given a large contract for the same reason C's tend to hang around in the NBA (Kwame Brown anyone), he is tall and has 'potential'.

The Skins have turned into a circus, it was only a matter of time, Snyder couldn't help himself. At least the Browns have draft picks.

I was listening to Mel Kiper Jrs. show last night and they were talking about the Romo situation. They said Schefter is getting his info directly from Romo but Dallas flipped last second and tried to create a market for him. They reckon that the interest from Denver and the Siemian to Jets trade were both leaked and fabricated by Dallas to try and get something from Houston.

Romo would be in on the plan if there was one so i cant imagine he would be exposing the "falsified info" if it is designed to get him where he wants to go and get us something back, it isn't like player and team are on bad terms, doesn't add up

Romo told Schefter before they flipped and thought there was a market for him. He had been informed by Dallas they were going to release him, the FO then flipped and they told Mortensen they were going to keep and trade him based on interest from 'multiple teams'. So both guys have the correct info from their respective sources, Schefter is still sticking with his initial report because of the bullshower reports about Denver being interested.

mmm idk, that sounds totally incompetent, surely you would have all the possible scenarios lined up as an organization and would have communicated it with Romo because of the good terms and also his compliance in confidentiality to go in whatever direction necessary to get the desired result for both parties, time will tell...

Mike Giardi of Comcast SportsNet New England reports restricted free agent CB Malcolm Butler wants out of Foxboro.
Per Giardi, Butler is "extremely frustrated" by the Patriots' willingness to trade him and commitment to Stephon Gilmore as one of the NFL's highest-paid cornerbacks. The Patriots wanted to deal Butler to New Orleans, but could not because Butler refused to sign his one-year restricted tender. One way the Pats could appease Butler is by giving him a big contract. That ship may have sailed, however, due to the money they invested in Gilmore.

Mat0369

They were saying they had to figure out a separate deal for Butler to NO. That could still be on the cards if he signs the tender. The Pats are going to get scraps for him though.

Mat0369

Foles just signed a 2 year deal with Philly. Bye, bye Chase Daniel.
