Like the Hogan signing for the pats. Good receiver who's been criminally underused by two other AFC East teams, can play in the slot or on the outside - has the speed and size for both. $4mil a year isn't that much too - he's a better player than the much higher paid FA WRs this season (Sanu, Kearse, Matthews, Jones...). Definitely has potential to be a 1000-yard receiver.

Antonio Brown hasn't gone live on Facebook tonight :( But seriously, Pats haven't played a game better than that in a while, was great to watch. Jukes was spot on regarding Hogan, seemed like he was open all game. Now the long two week wait until the SB, worrying about how on earth we're going to slow down the Falcons!

Wow surely that's a steelers ball then? They said the Steelers recovered it, video showed Brady fumbled it. So why is it still a Patriots ball?
Because the call on the field wasn't a Steelers recovery, the ref was just saying why Tomlin was challenging it I think. That's what Nantz said later anyway. Dont think that was the difference though :P

Pats can flower off!

yeah, i'm baiting peeps ; )

idk whether to support Carolina's Divisional rivals or the other lot :P

Matt Ryan to make it 2 in a row for the NFC South MVP/Losing SB QB combo?

But the Patriots have won enough so they can flower off as well :(

I'll probably make up my mind as the game begins haha

Better then Sanu?

Hogan: 51 receptions, 955 yards, 6 TDs, $4 million/year
Sanu: 68 receptions, 749 yards, 6 TDs, $6.5 million/year, and has a better QB
It's a good comparison but I'd definitely go with Hogan.

Another great stat - Rob Ninkovich now leads the NFL over the last 7 years for fumble recoveries, with 15. Great awareness to get in the spots to make all those plays at the football.

Fixed :)

Yeah I was gonna say, I don't think Sanu has a better QB. Although it'll all be worked out for sure in two weeks time :)

Is Curry better than LeBron? ;)
Well seeing this is about a 1 season time frame and not a career, yes?

Hey I never said Brady was better than Ryan :P I don't think theres that big a gap that it's worth mentioning in the Hogan/Sanu debate :)

Point is that the MVP is often not the best player in the world, it goes to the player who had the best regular season. Matt Ryan has had the best season and hence deserves MVP (let's just pretend that Brady wouldn't put up even better numbers than Ryan did if he had Julio) but the body of work from a Brady or a Rodgers is what I'm going to rely on rather than just one great, but outlier of a season. Remember, we're only 12 months removed from ATL fans wanting Ryan goneski. You're a maths guy, sample size is real in sports too ;)

Yeah but the Hogan vs Sanu debate was about this season only.

plumdog millionaire

The Hogan signing was better than Sanu when you consider $$$. As players it's hard to say without watching the film and all that
