That number is actually slightly generous. I didn't realise how bad his YPC is this year before the injury. It's 50 yards on 31 attempts for a massive 1.6 yards per carry

Surely you don't think they're better off with Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon as opposed to one of the best RB's of all time?

Also, it's not like their offensive line can block right now. But having AP in the backfield as a running threat would help!

I included his failure in the playoff game last year too (50 yards on 31 carries) that probably was what lost them the game

YPC tells about 20% of the story. There's a lot more to consider.

The only benefit for not having AP on the team is that they don't have to pay him and can spend money elsewhere

Okay flower this. Kalil, Benjamin, Addison, Johnson and now Kuechly injured at some point. Saints moving the ball easily too :'(

And Kuechly's injury is the worst of the lot... Some kind of knee injury... Carted off and crying as it's happening. I think his year is done :-\

Turns out Kuechly is being tested for concussion, might miss a game or two but much better outcome than the knee that looked like it was.
