So I traded out Hall for Merrett when he got dropped/had sore shoulder.

I still need 2 upgrades in the forward line.

Am I crazy in considering bringing Hall back in this week?  :P

Only $50k needed to upgrade Petracca.

His price at $400,000 is tempting me and Gold Coast have nearly their best squad together now.

I've never had him and am considering him as he's so cheap but I am worried about O'Meara's return and Hall being pushed forward.

I think Hall will continue to score well don't think having O'meara out there will make any difference , GC getting there best team out there and playing well is all that Hall needs

Hall's more of an outside mid anyway, likes sit just off the pack and get possies that way. Pops up here and there in both the defensive 50 and forward half to get those high possession counts.

Jaeger's straight into the contest, so rather than affecting Hall, he's probably gonna be the one feeding him the ball.

For me, I think Hall can be the highest rated forward in the next 8 rounds. Can be, being the operative phrase. Just not sure on the idea of trading someone out then bringing them back in a week later... I guess I am pretty stubborn like that

I've had him since RD1, so having held him this long he stays all year, but I wouldn't be trading him in this week if you don't have him

He had 1 good score after months of rubbish. I'm very happy he finally produced but it's hardly a guarantee now

He attended much more centre bounces last week, which seems to be the biggest factor for Hall. Every time he attends regularly he scores well, but then there's games where he doesn't and always scores poor

I'm just trying to look at value wise picks now and Hall and McVeigh represent value this week.

Only have 5 trades left and still need a D6 (McVeigh), F5 (Hall) and F6 (Dahlhaus when he comes back)

I will probably trade Menadue to Dahlhaus and just keep Kerridge as forward/mid cover.

Speaking of McVeigh do you think he is a good pick at D6?

Wouldn't mind Bartel but just trying to save a bit of cash in the kitty for a rainy day and McVeigh is $50k cheaper.

Love McVeigh. My query on him was his role in the team. He was playing off the half back flank one week and racking it up and the next was playing half forward. Past two weeks he`s played a Boyd type role which has resulted in plenty of intercept possessions, handball recieves and has become the `go to guy`out of defense like last year. If he is your d6 you are laughing

For D6 I am really liking McVeigh too.

At $463,600 he is hard to say no to.

I can go Petracca > Zorko instead of Hall but it only leaves me with $2,600 in the kitty.

Will be cutting it fine with a swap of Menadue > Dahlhaus with hardly any cash although has a breakeven of -7 so should get to $350,000 at least.

Ok so after alot of thinking and reversing trades 50,000 times I think I am going to bring Hall back in.

Petracca > Hall with $134,600 left over and 3 trades.

Only rookie left on the ground is Kerridge at F6.

This gets me a cheap F6 in Hall who I have a good feeling about for the rest of the season and also allows me to look at Kerridge for another week to see if he is worthy of being keep as bench cover.

If Kerridge flops again then I will trade him to Zorko next week.

If Kerridge tons up then I will probably wait on Dahlhaus coming back instead of grabbing Zorko and will end up going Menadue > Dahlhaus. Kerridge will then go to F7 and provide forward/mid cover.

I think this plan is the best for my team.
