A tad kneejerk to dump him after this week. Expecting him to come back in and kill it against Hawthorn is a bit of an ask, given it's a bye round, I'm just happy he was playing.

Personally, I'm not in a position where I can really trade him at all. I'm happy to back him in to return to his form from the start of the year.

Not sure it's knee-jerk - he's been poor for a long time now.

At 390k there is the opportunity to make 100k and replace him with Conca who will most likely score similarly to Hall, and also has the potential to score 90+ every so often

I might just continue holding Hall, but I think Conca (in my situation where it's bench cover and not starting 22) needs to be considered
If you want/need the 100k, then you may as well do it. Otherwise, keep the trade I reckon.

His last quarter today is the best he has played in the last couple of months but he has been very frustrating.

It is very interesting as to what to do with him. I am keeping him as an F7 but I can see why some would want to trade him.

no eye deer

I'm hoping with Mennadue earning a few more dollars I can get Dahl in a while and sit Hall on the pine.

WizzFizz

hall got 36 in the last quarter

shows he might be back in business

Thinking of just trading him to Buddy for 39k, would feel much more comfortable.

Annoying...only played midfield in the 4th quarter, but chopped up when he was there...Eade hates him it seems.

Im a 1 star to this forum but personally........ its his first week back, they played the reigning premiers who are now on top of the ladder, In Tassie, after a bye round, and has a coach who would of made a point of playing him forward to flex his muscle and show who was boss.
Worst case scenario you trade to Dahl for very little in a few weeks time.
Best case scenario he does what he did in first 4 weeks (129 124 134 119) but as a POD and you win.
We are in the byes, and trades are a premium, people are stressing.
But then again, I'm only a 1 star  :)

Good luck with what ever you choose.

Ingram

Martin, Zerret, Monty, Kerridge, Hall, Dhal (Mena, Petruck, Philips)

Dropped Wells. Now I'm tempted to upgrade either Kerridge or Hall to Lids.

8 left... :(

I agree, great advise!
The guy is averaging 94 and is only in 24% of teams now. Craziness - seeing so many people trade him out.
Yes I think he is a flat track bully, but that is exactly what the suns have coming up.
If you had have asked me before the hawks game I would have taken a 70.
Suns are coming good and so too will Hall.

I don't think this is an easy call - I'm glad I don't have him. But I must say I think one should be careful getting behind the Suns. They've looked better, but have lost ten in a row! West Coast are flat track bullies - GC might just be the whipping boys, and it is a bit hard to see them storming home and walking over a bunch of the weaker teams for me. But hey, I could be wrong!

Here is Suns draw for rest of the year for those that consider Hall a flat track Bully:  Saints (h), Lions (h), Dogs (a), Dockers (h) and for SC finals Melbourne (a), Giants (h), Bombers (a), Pies (a). If Suns display the form they did against Hawks yesterday then they are with a shot in all games with 3 of the next 4 at home prior to finals in SC.
Have to upgrade DeGoey and seriously considering Hall when I looked at draw. Only concern is JOM is possibly back for SC Finals.

might do a sneaky trade in next week :P

stikilda, lions, dogs, freo, dees, gws, dons, pies, port

I always said he was an uncontested ball magnet who picks up Junk. That isn't great when your getting pumped, but Ablett is back looking good and omeara 3 weeks away.

Will be a POD with the top teams too.

Who would have thought i would say this.

With Dahlhaus around the same price I wouldn't go do this path.

Dahl is injured i just traded him out. I need points now (mainly round 15)

dont worry im probably going lids.
Historically he's been one of the go to guys so no surprises there... If you had've said you were going to get Hall now I would've choked on my cornflakes.
I may get Hall actually.

that way I can have Adams as d7.
Do it quietly then mate or brace yourself for the backlash.
I'm off to get popcorn hahaha.

nah I always said he was abit of a downhill skier who would struggle when GC get pumped. I was only thinking about it as im real low on trades and it would save me one.

Im not going to do it i needed to see something. I was trying to be unbias and look at the merits of him as he was cheap compared to what he has shown he could do.

he did exactly what i thought he would do, rack up lots of ball uncontested and didnt do much with it. I would look at trading him in DT but he isnt a SCer.

he was a failed pick this year and I would trade him out if i had him and had trades (which i dont to both)

sometimes gambles need to be made but he isnt worth it.

Franklin for 40k much better (have him)

If i was to go cheap then it would be Tom Lynch from GC he will be the guy that thrives when they dont get pumped. Cheaper then hall and went 114 in the first month.

has had 1 terrible month where he averaged like 60 and his price fell from 530 to 380k perfect f7 as he can go big or put up nothing.

has had lots of games where he does nothing for 3 quarters and then comes out big in the 4th.

its a combination of him being an elite runner and also a junk specialist because he can rack up uncontested ball when the game is over.
