Aaron Hall - to keep or to chop

Defiantly holding. I traded Kerridge instead of Hall last week, that's how confident I am that he can come home like a steam train. GC draw opens up after the bye with Ess, Bris, Stk, Freo, Coll, Port and Melb all games which GC will either win or be competitive in. Still has Hawks, Bulldogs and GWS which are arguably the hardest teams to score against, but can't help but think he'll get back to his early season form

My plan is hold and if he doesn't get back to what I want maybe use a luxury trade on him to Dahlhaus
when he returns from injury. With trades getting low though hopefully Hall can find form again.

I'm not giving advice since you hardly need it from me... But it must be said, GC have lost 9 games in a row and look just plain bad. That coupled with Hall being so fairweather seems like a risky recipe at best!

Alright, half way into the 3rd and he has 7 touches for 26SC

I currently have him as M9, but at this rate I'm better off making Trengove who is currently my M10 my M9

I need money to get my backline finished, and I am seriously wondering if I should just downgrade Hall (Not sure who though) and then use that money to finish my backline

I'm seriously thinking about downgrading Hall to Conca/Crouch who will be mid bench cover, and then using that cash to upgrade Byrne to a prem def

Having one of them with Trengove should be decent mid cover

A tad kneejerk to dump him after this week. Expecting him to come back in and kill it against Hawthorn is a bit of an ask, given it's a bye round, I'm just happy he was playing.

Personally, I'm not in a position where I can really trade him at all. I'm happy to back him in to return to his form from the start of the year.

Not sure it's knee-jerk - he's been poor for a long time now.

At 390k there is the opportunity to make 100k and replace him with Conca who will most likely score similarly to Hall, and also has the potential to score 90+ every so often

I might just continue holding Hall, but I think Conca (in my situation where it's bench cover and not starting 22) needs to be considered
