So he is out this week, and then the following week they have they the bye

What are the chances he does well in the NEAFL this week, but then doesn't return due to the bye so could miss Round 14 too?

I was going to upgrade Smith to Rocky this week, but I am now thinking I should upgrade Hall instead? And then turn Smith into a prem forward in a week or two?

geez how many reasons do you need to get rid of a guy

1. has a sore shoulder
2. has been dropped
3. has a high BE and is bleeding cash
4. his team is struggling and he is a downhill skier
5. he hasnt gone 100+ since round 4, has a 5 round average of 75 and a 3 round average of 70
6. there are plenty of guys who arent too much more but much better.


Smith is making money, outscoring hall and is in the best 22 fully healthy.

who do you trade out of Player A and B

Player A: 431K 139 BE with 3 round average of 70, carrying and injury and dropped from his team.
Player B: 304k 40 Be with 3 round average of 70, fully fit in the 22.

I've already said previously that I would like to punt him, but it's just a matter of running low on trades and getting rid of him is a luxury as I still need to upgrade my team

Dahl or Zerrett would be the options I consider for him, or I might be able to work some DPP magic and turn him into Rocky instead of Smith into Rocky

Was going to suggest the latter, you can pick up Dahl when he bottoms out.

I think it would be 2 weeks in the NEAFL or do they have a bye like AFL GC

At a minimum it's a hold until next week unless you plan to use 3 trades next week.

See how he goes in the NEAFL.  See what Rocket says.

Unless of course you're chasing a guy like Rocky this week... no reason to wait.

Spewing that Sinclair and Petracca play the last two games of the round so I can't even use Hall to loophole them :(

Think I might just stick to my original trade plans of bringing in an extra prem this week, and just field Petracca over Hall like I did last week too

Hall was always going to miss next week anyway with the bye which I had planned for, so I can reassess after the bye

mitchell and hall. my 2 "premiums" i wanted to luxury trade at some stage. this news could be a blessing.. or they will continue to be terrible post byes. either way its the byes next week, so i have to hold them.

Can turn him to Mcveigh via dpp., or hold and turn him to Montagna next week. Means that I'll miss out on Rance and will look at picking him up Round 15/16.

Tbh I'd rather field Patracca over him at the moment anyway ;)
Hopefully this is what he needs to kick him back into gear, and atleast he isnt losing money this week.

I've decided to keep him for now and stick to my original plans.

Can use Hall as my Captains loophole and can loophole McGovern & Petracca at F6.

Gov to Wingard is too sideways.
Hall up to a premo sounds like a good move GCS are in all sorts of trouble.
