Keep in mind GC play Richmond this week.. I reckon we are the #1 team for running average players into form so expect a 120  :-X

I reckon you kill gold coast though. Im actually expecting big numbers from your players.

Nothing would surprise me Holz. We should win well but when you have been a Richmond member for 20 years you expect the worst haha

Back to back 20 disposal games. Didn't attend 1 centre bounce. Not ONE.

In his defense, he was getting a lot of disposals in those lower scoring games, but they weren't translating to good SC scores. Now he is just useless.

You either cut him now, or have him as bench cover. I think he has to go.  Either this week or round 14

Yeah he's actually still averaging 28 disposals a game. He was still racking it up in his poorer games with 32 against North, 28 against Geelong & 32 against GWS, but his DE% was poor. Could easily go back to decent scoring if he recovers from the shoulder injury and cleans up his use.

IMO it comes down to how many rookies on field you have left. I only have 2 so want to upgrade those spots ASAP and then look at luxury trades. I have 15 trades left so I helps a in that aspect. I'm holding for now.

What rookies are thry though?

Dea and Petracca. Want to keep Petracca for the byes now but will be upgrading Dea next week.

ok upgrading dea makes sense.

Petracca seems a better hold then Hall though.

100 51 89 in the last 3

I'll hold both and look to upgrade one of McGovern/Sumner on my forward bench to a premo.

I read that hall didn't attend a centre bounce on the weekend. Is this true? If so...

Correct, but hard to gauge anything considering how bad the weather was

This week vs Richmond is what I will make my decision against. If he can't do well and is playing mostly forward then he goes as soon as possible

Interesting feedback 43-29 say keep Hall at the moment. I'm leaning that way too.
I saw enough for me earlier in the year to suggest he can pump out those 100s again.
Not reading too much into the whole 'no centre bounce attendances' last week as they were up against the toughest midfield in the comp in a game that was played three feet below water.
Players like Hall (especially with a bung shoulder) was never going to thrive.
I hope that GC actually rest him this week, everyone trades him out, he has his bye the week after and comes back fresh and kills it in the back half of the year.
He's at $430k now so he won't loose too much more money - maybe $50k-$70k more? So it's not disastrous.
At worst he's a f6 or f7, stinks it up for a few more weeks and GC pull the pin on his season and send him in for surgery early.
But until that happens I'm set for holding.
Can't bring myself to trade out a guy that has such a big ceiling and so much upside.

fun stat:

this year

Average when GC wins: 129
Average when GC lose: 83

last year:

Average when GC wins: 129
Average when HC lose or draw: 76

he has only gone 100+ twice in a loss in the last 2 years.  thats 2/17 times or 11.7%

so the question becomes given he is the a downhill skier how many gamer do you see GC winning.

If either Nic Nat or Goldy are out... Hall will become Tippett because I can't afford 2 donuts in 2 weeks!

How is it that I know with absolute certainty that if I trade him out he'll come good but if I hold him he will continue to fester?  ???

Combine that with the shoulder and it's a compelling case to cut and run. The silver lining is all the gun forwards apart from Zorko are dirt cheap at the moment, I'm treating this like an injury trade, despite the fact he's still on the park.
