3 trades left. Need to get hall out, use 1 trade and get anyone under 437k or use 2 and get merrett?

If you have a DPP R3 then I would take a punt on Lycett,

Will lose 15-30 points per round compared to Merrett but you have ruck cover and a saved trade

Unfortunley i have Goetz r3. Great idea though for people with an r3 dpp and hall.
Considering Menadue > Clay Smith and play him till hall comes back.

Bugger that sucks

Menadue > Smith is a decent choice

Toby Green is the only other player I would consider trading Hall to

Unless you want to take a huge risk on someone like Ben Brown, Jack Martin or Jeremy Cameron who have all been in good form recentley

Greene or Wingard ? I'm leaning towards Greene but don't have to make decision tonight

Blairholt

Yeah would defs get wingard but am bloody $300 off him. Toby is probably the best option.

I've got just enough money to go Hall to Zerrett.. Thinking I'll pull the trigger

Yeah, it's a pity because I thought Hall could go 110+ from here

RaisyDaisy

Said I was going to hold because I really want to hold onto my final trade just in case I cop an injury in the backline in the next week or two because if I do and have no trades I'm flowered there, but considering that Hall won't be available for Round 1 of SC finals (which is super important for me as could shoot straight to prelim/cash) I am having second thoughts on holding

Argh, so much risk either way!

I guess Hall is a possibility of coming back a week early too - but he's also a possibility of being shelved for the rest of the year

I don't need him this week on field (Hopefully I don't cop any late outs) but what's pressing me to make the call now is that Greene is the only replacement option that remotely interests me, but even if he goes up 3k this week I wouldn't be able to afford lol

My dilemma is, do I hold Hall and just try to get through the next 2 weeks unscathed and then use my final trade in week 1 of finals, which carries the risk of not having a great replacement option for Hall as Greene will most likely be out reach for me by then (Brad Crouch the next best option but would lose DPP cover in forwards) or do I use it now and grab Greene, but then if I cop an LTI in the next 2 weeks or so, especially in the backline, I'm toast

This is real crystal ball stuff - need some luck that's for sure, regardless of which option I choose!

Still leaning towards the hold. Greene has a BE of 83, which he could not even hit, or completely smash

RaisyDaisy

Just had a good review of all of the potential replacements that I could go with

Greene DPP (Who might not be affordable from next week)
Marc Murphy, if he pulls a return in 2 weeks
Jarryd Lyons DPP
Hanley
Crouch

I reckon it has to be Greene now, with the associated risk or Crouch in the next week or 2

I am in the same boat RD. It`s a tough call.

I too said I would be holding Hall, but after Rocket Eade said yesterday he is 3 weeks away I am very tempted to pulled the trigger as that`s half the remaining games he is out for.

If I was in your shoes I would be holding. Greene is a very good player but is up and down and from memory he hasn`t backed up big games (scored 122 last week) this year. He is playing Port away in what shapes as a tough battle. Greene has only really been scoring points when GWS smash teams. In losses and close games his scores drop dramatically. He has a breakeven of 83 this week, I dont think he hits that.
If he does hit his b/e and you cant afford him in a couple of weeks, I think Motlop is a good option (currently at $366k) as he is pretty unique now... His last 4 games are pretty easy and he should rack up some decent points.

I am in a bit stronger position as I still have 3 trades left and $140k in the bank, so I am considering going Hall to Zerrett..

Thoughts?

tkringle

Have been considering Motlop as my Hall F6 replacement and loop with Kerridge where I can for the best score each week. Would also allow me to upgrade Libba to someone like Ward, Priddis or Coniglio and still have 2 trades left.

Crazy?
