Hawthorn has won a ridiculous 12 in a row against the Demons with 7 of those by 50+ but the Hawks are hardly in great form. Meanwhile, Melbourne were smashed by Port and are now without Viney.

Hawthorn always smash us... they just have too much skill, and I expect that to continue.

Also, with a flawed defence plan that heavily relies on us winning the centre clearance, that just makes me shudder more. Why? Because the number one centre clearance player comfortably in the competition is out; Jack Viney.

So, when we lose the centre clearance a little more often than usual, the "Diamond Defence" I fear is just going to get exposed way worse than what the middle-tier teams do to us.

And then you look at the hawks forward line...

The only good thing about this match from a Dees supporter point of view, is that Jack Trengove will play :D (assuming he is selected), and that will be amazing.

Am both annoyed and relieved that I have an exam during this game, so it will be the first game that I haven't watched/followed for the year. The last time I did that was when we beat Geelong last year...  :o

Yeah even though the Hawks haven't been their best, they should still beat the Dees who were fairly disappointing last week. A close game wouldn't surprise though after the Lions pushed the Hawks for just over 3 quarters last week.
