Can hold for the first time in ages  :-[

Finally getting Boyd in this week.  Been wanting to for about a month but other things have popped up.  With Laird (hopefully) back it means I only need one more upgrade in defence and that's complete.

thinking steph to goldy if his fit.

Thinking it's a good week to bring in one of the Blues defenders. Do we think Docherty is worth splashing the cash (over Simmo and any other defender for that matter)?

Edit: Probably should say who my other premo defenders are ;)  Shaw, Bartel, Laird, McVeigh

My defenders read Shaw, Laird, McVeigh, Simpson and Boyd. Have been happy with all and the last one I'll be looking at will be either Docherty if I fell like a risk or play it safe with Bartel. I think that is about a good as line up as you can get in the back line.

So, to answer your question, any of those.  :P

GC Suns have reinstated Mitch Hallahan to the senior list from the long-term injury list and returned Darcy McPherson to the rookie list

If you still have McPherson maybe time to trade,

Can't go wrong with either Docherty or Simmo. Very hard to split them. I personally couldn't bring myself to spend that much on Docherty now though as I nearly brought him in a few weeks ago at 476k but went Gunston instead (who has been good, but not Docherty good).

Bring in Trengove or Dunkley this week? Need to downgrade Hartley to a midfielder in order to sub Rosa down back and these two are my best options.

Already missed Dunkley's first price rise but even then he is still only 19k more than Trenners. JS could be slightly worse though.

Gibbs vs Neale vs Hunter

If I get Hunter, then it means I can trade Hartley instead of Brown, but I'll probably trade the other one to Collins next week anyway tbh

Tough to split them. I've had Hunter from early and he's been great but I've constantly got a nagging feeling he's going to tail off before the end of the year.

It's hard to go past Gibbs' form at the moment.

Do their byes make a difference to you?

Could not care less about the byes haha. I think I'll go with Gibbs, should destroy Brisbane this week. Might be able to grab Neale next week anyway, and Rocky the week after :)

Cheers Rusty!

I got Neale in last week, so happy with his 104 average for me so far, haha.  Just like you think Gibbs is gonna smash Brisbane, I think Neale is gonna smash the Bombers.  Both could potentially pump out 150's tbh.

so happy rocky and laird are back! been carrying them all this time.

only have tipp, DBJ, Petrecca and Kerridge rookies on field now!!

tempting to get another gun in but I think I will only do 1 downgrade this week and leave it

LF

Have gone McGovern and Brown to Tucker and Dahlhaus
Leaves me only 2 rooks in Tippa and DBJ on field and then Kerridge at F6
