smith has great JS and scoring ability. dont know why people want to off load him (unless he is the only option)

I have Smith at M8 and want to get Gray in to complete my mids.

Smith is the only guy in my mids that I can upgrade as I have Keays, Davis and Matho on the bench.

That's why I am keeping Smith for a bit longer - don't want dodgy bench cover. Guys like Keays, Matho and Davis could all be dropped any time, where as Smith has good JS and scores better than all of them

Fid

MacPherson to Mathieson

Hartley to McVeigh

Guess I could upgrade Keays > Gray instead of Smith then RD if Keays gets dropped tonight.

I'm actually considering Armitage right now.  Kind of taking the piss, but half serious at the same time.  He's in my team right now.

$50k cheaper than Robbie Gray and they both averaged basically the same last year.  Bargain right? :P

I'm just stating my opinion, that's all :) If you want to trade Smith it's fine, I just personally think he is better to keep ahead of the others

I'll be trading Smith, but not for a couple of weeks I'd imagine

That being said if it's a choice between Keays or Smith to Gray I'd punt Keays

Was HUGE last year, not sure why he's been off the pace a bit this year, but has a massive ceiling. It's Army or Gray for me????

Wasnt going to do any trades this week but I've gone M Brown (ess) > Tucker via dpp. Also, should we jump off keys now or wait 1 more week? I have the chance right now to get Jack Steven in for Keays. What do you guys think?

Keays still has money to make, reckon a Trengove downgrade would be perfect.

I'm stuck this week. Trade 1 is locked:

T. Adams --> R. Gray

Trade 2 is where I need help. The aim is to get Dahlhaus in next week, and I'm a bit confused as to how I'll make that happen. I currently have $22k in the bank. Rookies that could go:

Byrne-Jones, $315,000, BE: 45.
M. Brown (Ess) $299,500, BE: 51.
MacPherson $154,800, BE: N/A as is out this week.
Menadue $226,300, BE: N/A as he is out this week.
Kerridge $387,800, BE: 60.

Rookies that could possibly come in:

Marsh $117,300
Joyce $102,400
Trengove $156,500
Cole $117,300
Jansen $123,900

Possible combinations of this week's remaining trade and next week's two trades:

Option 1:

Week 1:
MacPherson --> Trengove

Week 2:
M. Brown/ Byrne-Jones --> Joyce/Cole/Marsh
Kerridge --> Dahlhaus

Option 2:

Week 1:
MacPherson --> Joyce/Cole/Marsh (via DPP)

Week 2:
M. Brown/Byrne-Jones --> Joyce/Cole/Marsh
Kerridge --> Dahlhaus

Option 3:

Week 1:
M. Brown --> Joyce/Cole/Marsh

Week 2:
Byrne-Jones --> Joyce/Cole/Marsh
Menadue --> Dahlhaus

etc. etc. etc.

What do you guys think would be the best way to get these trades done?

Jesty

Looking at Lycett been doing ok for a forward @95avg and can act as replacement for Goldy if need be.
Or wingard at his price, usually comes good this time of year.
Bennedy has to go.

Looks like I'll have to give Gray a miss for now, as I don't want to trade out Smith yet. So it's Ruggles to Collins/Tucker and Brown to McVeigh I think. I'll have to swing Tippa fwd and will probably play him over Petrecca, swapping Petrecca fwd via Wells. Spewing the Tigers play Friday night, so I can't use Menadue as a loophole.

I'm a bit worried taking McVeigh after one good score, but I don't like any other options.

Chrispy75

Trade 1 - Kennedy to Gray.

Trade 2 - 3 options
A - MacPherson -Tucker. Bank =108k
B - Kerridge -Tucker. Bank = 337k
C - Barlow - Tucker. Bank = 455k

No downgrades next week, so feeling like options B and C give me opportunity to do a double upgrade instead?

Smith > Matho
Tippa > Dahl

Forwards are complete at this stage with Wells F6

Hartely > Tucker
Tippa > Dahl

Still make more cash with Smith, locked!

If M9 & M10 are both playing you can leave DMAC @ M11 - I'd go option B!

None of the rookies listed I would touch (with the exception of Trengove)

Brown -> Collins would be one I'd consider next week (I really like Collins).

Then I'd say farewell to Menapoo for Dollhouse.  Having playing ppl is important as we roll through the byes.
