What to expect from Ablett and Hall

traded ablett to sloane 2 weeks ago to get a up on the competition. It has cost me 120 points.

Ablett is coming back in unless goldy is out. He looked fresh. only has to play 3 more games then gets another rest.

Burning 2 trades? Really?
If you have got rid of Ablett surely you don't bring him back in? I have him but think he'll be mothballed along with Hall at some point

i might not trading sloane to ablett that silly.

im bringing in ablett for bennedy so im burning the 1 trade which was last week.

this week its just going ablett at 440k over gray at 400k.

had me excited for a second  :'(

So let me get this straight.. You side swapped Gaz to another premo* in Sloane and now you're going to upgrade a rookie back to Ablett?

at the time sloane was coming off a 5 round average of 114 and had just posted 141 on Geelong who where a top 4 team. He was also playing GC without Ablett and Hall and historically scores much bigger in wins then losses.

Ablett was looking sore coming off a 98 5 game average and every other team was struggling.

The logic was Sloane pumps a 140 and was my captain. Other teams where forced to play josh smith and he put up 70. so 70 points gained then points gained from captain.

Ablett could miss 1 maybee 2 games, start of slow then i trade libba to him round 14 after he has hid bye and he was fresh, maybe a little chepaer and I was looking great.


What happend was sloane 95, Smith 85 so 10 points gained. Then Goldy who would have been my captain if no sloane cost me 80 points.

This week Ablett breaks his trend and put up 143. So gaining another 50 points on sloane.

overall cost of the trade was a trade and 130 points.

but there was logic in the plan it just didnt pan out.

Got to rememebr sloane averaged 115 in 2014.

he was injured in the middle of last year. averaged 140 before getting knocked out in round 4. Then averaged 115 in the last 7 games of the season. Coming off a 5 game average of 114 the signs where all there he was a good pick up.

I still think he is good.

I look at it this way if I traded Gaz back this week with 2 trades plus the one to get rid of him that's 3 , if I had of kept him with money I had in the bank with 3 trades i could have got 2 more premos plus still have Gaz this week ?

The 3 trades since the weekend I traded Gaz are Brown Adams and DBJ = $ 985500 + $249000 bank = $1234500 after getting one cheapie that leaves 1.1 mil , what I am saying this week I would have 1 more premo on the field if I did not trade Gaz ...... but I did

You have burnt one trade, not two.

But either way you're one trade less than everyone else. If I were you I'd stay away from Gaz. I'm consigned to the fact I'll have to side ways trade him at some point when he gets put in cotton wool..
What happens if he goes down next week? It would mean that you need to burn another trade to go Gaz to another prem.. I just don't get the sense in trading back in a guy who is a massive injury risk and you know will miss more games this year
