First time at the Gabba since 2008 for the Hawks.  Hope they brought their GPS.

Hard to see Lions winning but just want to see that improvement coming.  Trust we are up from first bounce unlike the Pies and we see some good contested ball. Zorko to continue his strong SC form but a win to Hawks says the head,

Just received this:

And would you believe I have both in my SC team so hope both score well.

Off to the Gabba in around an hour,  Very strong wind here today from the West/South West so will favour the team kicking to the Vulture Street end.  Although with the ground fully encircled by stands may swirl a little.

Go Lions and make a game of it.

Edit No changes to Lions team

Why do the commentators insist on talking about dropping the knees and flinging the opponent's arm over the shoulder as if it's some kind of fine art form?

Did Brisbane do a mid-season trade and bring in Lindsay Thomas?

Seriously Mathieson don't become that guy...

Ok the West thing has been fun but now let's flower him off out of the team and let Stefan do his thing thanks
