Can't use the ring argument when hes way past his prime. I take Wade over any SG not named Jordan, but right now, you gotta take Klay. He does way more with way less at this point.
The Kobe disrespect is strong!

Im not a Kobe fan but would have him higher.

West, AI, Gervin, Drezler I would have in the wade bracket. Wade does have more rings though.

Well flower i knew it was falling apart ::)

Only thing that burns is we are getting nothing in return for him, nothing but love and respect for Wade, will never forget how he came of age in 2006 and torched the Mavs 4 straight games after we lost the first 2 at home, i am actually glad he is gone though, as great as he is/was if he is on your team there is a ceiling to the style you can play and i dont think it will get you to the Finals in either conference.
I am honestly excited about the future, there will be a new style run and two young guns that will be the barometer for us, with the extra playing time i expect we will get to see if they will become stars eventually and once the Bosh scenario is sorted out we are going to have over 40m in cap space for next years free agents...
Well said, Riot. Was waiting for your thoughts and figured this is how you would react. The Wade era has been the greatest in Heat basketball history so seeing a relationship go so sour that he's gone to a worse team is just hard to believe. Pat Riley never loses though, and I think this is an example of that. Now you can hand the keys over to the Dragic Whiteside PnR with quality young guys around him. I presume you'll match the offer sheet on Tyler Johnson.
I'm high on Winslow and Richardson too - Really promising 3 and D guys at minimum and Winslow has some more potential considering his athleticism.
Don't mind the heat, but I think they should look to get some youth to the team and build with a bunch of youngsters, I rate Winslow really highly
Was gonna come here to say this sort of shower. Dragic can now be Dragic - no more slow down, iso ball for Wade; more playing time for the youngsters; opens up a bunch of cap room so you don't get Kobe'd with your stars final years. Hopefully Bosh can get back to play ball and it's hopeful times for the Heat.

Wade will always be a Heat legend regardless of where he ends his career.
Im not sure if we match, its 50/50, i think Riley might let him go, he cant really trade the youth now so his next move comes in the 2017 free agency, i think he will want to maximize his cap flexibility, having said that if he believes he can trade Johnson for a pick or expiring contract he will match, 4 years 50m is probably par for the course at the moment but it feels like a bad contract to me...

It appears that Riley wanted him gone, heard that at no point did Riley even speak to Wade in free agency, no call, no text, nutta thing, even after he made his decision no thanks for the time, nothing.
One thing you can always sell is hope... and cap space... and South Beach ;)

The Heat has until Sunday to decide if it wants to match the four-year, $50-million offer sheet Tyler Johnson signed with the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. The problem for Miami â€" and the reason the Heat will likely pass and allow Johnson to walk â€" is the $18 million and $19 million hits the Heat would take in the final two seasons of the deal.

Well yes, his peak was higher than Kobe's... Sure that means he's better? Kobe had 14 elite seasons in a row, playing 60+ games every year.

Ben Simmons is going to be awesome

He just needs to work on that shot to the point he feels comfortable pulling up for a shot. With his passing ability he will be a nightmare defensively.

I know the shooting should come, however just the shots he wants and what he gets. I don't think it will be as easy as just natural progression

My favourite Duncan performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uCTXqNIxoU

Classic old man game 8) I love Timmy, he's firmly in the top 5 or 6 of all-time. In a 30 team league, winning as much as he did is just impossible. Legend.

Holz

what a legend, probably stepped away to fit pau in thinking that gives them a better chance of a ring.

The true legends dont need a farewell tour, the best player of his generation just walked away in style.

the best PF of all time.

Hearing rumours of a 3 way trade with Boston, Clippers & Sacramento.  The major trade pieces are Griffin, Gay & Crowder

Boston get Griffin
Clippers get Gay
Sacramento get Crowder

Other pieces are involved but no details yet.

Boston the big big winners of that deal.

Thomas Griffin Horford is a quasi big 3.

Really like it.

here is the call, they get Griffin. Celtics will be my second team.

My number 1 team is always Lebron's
