This is not a bad starting 5

Lopez
Gibson
Butler
Wade
Rondo

Then Buckets, Valentine, Mirotic coming off the bench.  Did the Bulls just become relevant in the East again?
Lot of names but I wouldn't call it good. Plus they are going to have a horrific defence.

Hot take: Bulls won't make the playoffs.

Ecf will be cavs vs pacers
I certainly have the Pacers ahead of the Bulls.

kinda depends how they click. pacers certainly have the best player from both teams though. PG13 over Butler every day.

The Bulls are a certainty to click! I can't see how it could go wrong! \s

Well flower i knew it was falling apart ::)

Only thing that burns is we are getting nothing in return for him, nothing but love and respect for Wade, will never forget how he came of age in 2006 and torched the Mavs 4 straight games after we lost the first 2 at home, i am actually glad he is gone though, as great as he is/was if he is on your team there is a ceiling to the style you can play and i dont think it will get you to the Finals in either conference.
I am honestly excited about the future, there will be a new style run and two young guns that will be the barometer for us, with the extra playing time i expect we will get to see if they will become stars eventually and once the Bosh scenario is sorted out we are going to have over 40m in cap space for next years free agents...

Well said, Riot. Was waiting for your thoughts and figured this is how you would react. The Wade era has been the greatest in Heat basketball history so seeing a relationship go so sour that he's gone to a worse team is just hard to believe. Pat Riley never loses though, and I think this is an example of that. Now you can hand the keys over to the Dragic Whiteside PnR with quality young guys around him. I presume you'll match the offer sheet on Tyler Johnson.

I actually think the Bulls have had the most franchise damaging off-season of any team. Butler turns 27 before the next season starts, his next two years are going to be wasted on a fringe playoff team with a bunch of old guys, and by the time their contracts expire he'll be 29 and only have 1 maybe 2 if he's lucky elite years left. Too late then to build a good team around him. Hope he enjoys wasting his prime driving to the lane against 3 defenders - his own, Rondo's, and Wade's... There's no doubt that they should have done what Portland did when Aldridge left. Just lock up young guys with potential to improve on solid contracts, hand the keys over to the star and build towards a promising future.

I'm high on Winslow and Richardson too - Really promising 3 and D guys at minimum and Winslow has some more potential considering his athleticism.

Don't mind the heat, but I think they should look to get some youth to the team and build with a bunch of youngsters, I rate Winslow really highly

Hmm...apparently Butler was on a Bill Simmons podcast recently and didn't sound like he was a fan of Wade.
Listened to that but can't recall anything. What was said?

Was gonna come here to say this sort of shower. Dragic can now be Dragic - no more slow down, iso ball for Wade; more playing time for the youngsters; opens up a bunch of cap room so you don't get Kobe'd with your stars final years. Hopefully Bosh can get back to play ball and it's hopeful times for the Heat.

Wade will always be a Heat legend regardless of where he ends his career.

Can't use the ring argument when hes way past his prime. I take Wade over any SG not named Jordan, but right now, you gotta take Klay. He does way more with way less at this point.
The Kobe disrespect is strong!
