Bogut and Green were big parts of winning that champ. Now there are now big men, and no defense. Iggy getting old.

Yes they still have Draymond and Iggy off the bench.  They also just signed Zaza Puchilia

Puchilia
Green
Durant
Thompson
Curry

Thats a very handy starting 5

Andrew3747

Of course green is still their, but he is going to have the support anymore. Puchilia is pretty damn average, and even worse defender. Durant is a pretty high USG player as well. IMO, they have too many shooters, but hey it works for them. Don't think they will get away with having 3 shooters in a team.

Very Surprised in both the warriors and Durrant

1. Shows the warriors arent the greatest team or where a dynasty as they felt they needed to break up there team droping Barnes a guy they drafted and bogut a guy who has been around for all their success. Obvisouly felt they needed to bring in a top 5 guy.

2. Durrant going to a team that can win a championship without him, shows that he isnt a superstar, he might not even be the best player in his team. He could have moved to anyone even the spurs besides the cavs and warrirors. Would have prefered him go to the celtics and be the guy to get them the ring. any championship he gets now comes under question marks.

3. This is nothing like Lebron going to Miami, i keep hearing this. The warriors can win the ring without him. Take Lebron off miami and im not sure they even make it to the conference finals. Wade was a superstar but his body was on the decline and never the same. Steph is a two time MVP.  Bosh is a great 3rd man but I would take Green over him. Not to mention Klay is the best or second best spot up shooter in the league. Miamia hadnt just made the finals back to back and were coming off a 73 win series.
Wow the salt
I thought everyone was saying 73 wins means nothing? Also breaking up? Not going to keep paying a guy what was on 10+mil a year that played 17 minutes a game. Also realising that a player isn't worth a max contact is good management to let him go. Yes the Warriors of 2015-16 won't be the greatest team this one will be?

Very good chance OKC trade Westbrook before he has chance to jump ship next year too.

Cookie311993

Weak move by Durant.

Leaves us in a strange position. Westbrook is a free agent next off season. So we could lose him as well

That's the strong rumour going around. That they will try and get something for Westbrook instead of risking him going on a free

I sense Holz is itching to get his asterisk pen out again :D

I feel for oladipio

you go from a team probably favorite to win the championship to now being the star on a young team, pretty much the same as the magic (unless they get something really good for westbrook)

they have to win first. I didn't need it this year :P

Holz

just looking at westbrook trades now

Thunder receive: Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown, Nets 2018 first-round pick
Celtics receive: Russell Westbrook

Thunder receive: Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson
Heat receive: Russell Westbrook, Andre Roberson

Thunder receive: Brandon Ingram, D’Angelo Russell
Lakers receive: Russell Westbrook

The heat probably gives him the greatest chance to win now with Wade, Bosh, Whiteside but I think Celtics would be the best move.

Thomas Westbrook Horford is a might fine big 3. lots of assets to build around too.

yep flower it do the deal

jvalles69

The Heat deal looks good for them, think Wade has now been offered 20mill per year for 2 years so he's ll prob stay.
