Valk I love Sacramento now because you've done Phoenix a massive good turn!!!  ;)

How? We gave you Marquese Chriss with the pick 8.  He's not exactly a superstar

Holz, KD plus Bradley and Thomas is legit. KD makes any team a contender.
You're kidding right?

It's certainly a contender when you include whoever KD wants us to use our second max salary slot on ;)

"Hey KD, pick anyone on the free agent market and convince them to come to Boston - we can fit you both in! Plus you get to play in the east! You're our next Larry Bird!" ;D

I'm a Celtics fan and even I think that's a bit of a stretch

Are Boston more of a contender than the Thunder? He won't want to leave to a team that's not in a better position than the thunder

Andrew3747

Any team KD choses becomes top 5. OKC, SA, GSW, CLE and the KD team.

I don't even think this should be a discussion. KD is that good.

If KD leaves OKC they are no longer top 5

I would put my money on Westbrook Oladipo Adams Kanter over KD Thomas Bradley

There is 0% chance KD is going to the celtics. He would leave to get a ring besides being in the east its no easier. What he would do is grantee a conference final then lose to Lebron.

the best free agent would be horford.

even adding Horford KD to the celtics wont give them the win.

KD will stay in OKC.

If not he goes warriors, spurs who will improve him.

the only other option is Lebron KD to LA and thats not happening.

Without KD I don't think we are a top 5 side
He has said he wants titles.
The trade of Ibaka and bringing in Oladipo shows him the board is boosting their weakness from this season in a push for a championship.
Warriors, Spurs and Thunder are pretty much the only teams in the running.
Clippers are interested but would need to get rid of one of their Big 3, most likely Griffen

If you swap out Ibaka for Oladipo, and get rid of Waiters, do the Thunder beat the Spurs and push the Warriors to 7? Thought Ibaka was crucial in both series

Adams was the crucial one. He came back from a poor game 1 against the Spurs to really dominate the remaining matches of the Spurs series and the Warriors series.

I would say you probably beat the warriors. If Adams Kanter can play together then they can cover the loss of Ibaka. Ersan Ä°lyasova off the bench will help as well, he isnt a scrub.

as will Domantas Sabonis who is a PF/C

thunder have done really really well.

they pick up the PG/SG they need then have lots of cover for Ibaka. I thought Ibaka has regressed as a player.

KD, Avery and Thomas may not be the favourite, but that still contends. You can only contend vs one of the GOATs, can never really be a favourite (GSW is a extraordinary case). Current Celts with KD and another, still is roughly 40% vs a LeBron team. I would gladly take you up on any KD team that isnt already top 5 vs the OKC next season holz.

it wont happen though but i would take you up on it.

the thing is not is he a contender on celtics it is KD on the thunder v KD on the celtics. He has more of a chance on the thunder despite being in the west.

If he wants to win he goes to the Spurs.

Leonard Durrant Aldridge is scary.

best defender combined the scoring power of Durrant and Aldridge. Then the old guys stick around. Thats a dynasty in the making, they would also elimite the thunder as warriors cavs the only guys in their way. I think they would smash the warriors and also the cavs.

Andrew3747

Obviously, but Spurs prob cant afford to throw the kitchen sink at him like the Celtics do. He either stays at OKC, goes home to WAS or goes to an already contending team. Celtics is a dark horse to get him, i think its our best chance to contend for the next 5 years.

Also saw a graph that has Jaylen Brown performing at exactly the same level as PP34 in college.
