Obviously, but Spurs prob cant afford to throw the kitchen sink at him like the Celtics do. He either stays at OKC, goes home to WAS or goes to an already contending team. Celtics is a dark horse to get him, i think its our best chance to contend for the next 5 years.

Also saw a graph that has Jaylen Brown performing at exactly the same level as PP34 in college.

DANNY GOAT
What puts the Celtics above the thunder to start with?
KD will stay with the thunder unless he is going to a side in a better position than the thunder
Thunder can pay him the max contract that a number of other sides can. That's why a lot of teams think they are a chance cause they can offer a max contract but he wants championships

Could be a lot of things. Any sort of  Relationship couldve broken down between players or staff. Boston is a great city with rich history and a fantastic stadium. Plus he gets to pick another player to bring in with no money ristrictions. According to reports, Jaylen is a family friend so thats another thing. Who knows what he is actually thinking.

what he will do is sign a 2 year contract with a 1 year opt out. Then he and westbrook can go somewhere. If he wants to make money and get expsoure then he goes to the lakers with westbrook and or james.

makes much more sense.

Randle, Ingram, Westbrook, Durrant and im hearing Whiteside now thats a team.

Another stat for LeBron. 4th all time Playoff points. 68 behind Kobe, 150 behind Kareem and 415 behind Jordan. At the age of 32, Its almost a lock that if he wins another ring next season, he becomes all time top scorer. Still a lot for him to do to get above Jordan, but if he gets a sweep in awards (MVP, Finals MVP and Ring) surely this puts him on level with the GOAT. If he actually gets a 3peat with sweeps, he will become the GOAT.

he wont get MVP though. Everyone knows he is the best player in the world and he still didnt get the award. he just doesnt care about the regular season anymore, the true showing of a champion.

he has earnt 4 of the last 5 years finals MVPs though.

Andrew3747

Still think he is a pretty good chance to take an award like that. He is prob the GOAT of MVP. No one changes a team like LeBron.

You don't think the guy who just won the MVP unanimously is the favourite to win next year? I'd have to give Durant and Leonard more chance of winning MVP next year than LeBron too. I think he just cruises through the regular season now.

Yeah I agree, Durant will want to explode next year after having 2 injury interrupted seasons.  Kawhi would have to take his game up another level to take out an MVP, he gets injured quite a bit too.  Out of Curry or Durant for me.

Did Bill Russell still get in-season MVP awards??   ???   ;)

Valk I love Sacramento now because you've done Phoenix a massive good turn!!!  ;)

How? We gave you Marquese Chriss with the pick 8.  He's not exactly a superstar
because Sacto were the only ones willing to do a deal in the right spot - w/out Sacramento, Phoenix get squat = favour!  8)   ;)

A fully fit Durant will be good to see. Hopefully he is still in thunder colours. Since he won the mvp award, Westbrook has developed a lot as well. Both of them in form will be hard to beat. Provided they stick together

I hope so too...interested to see the line-ups they go with.  Adams/Kanter/Durant/Oladipo/Westbrook starting 5 would have to be up there with the best starting 5 in the comp, perfect balance of offense and defense, they will shred teams a part if they can all co-exist as starters although it leaves them fairly empty off the bench.  Wouldn't be surprised to see Adams/Ilyasova/Durant/?/Westbrook and have Kanter and Oladipo running the 2nd unit.  flower this team is going to be sick.

Cookie311993

I reckon Roberson will be the 6th man. Full strength starting lineup I would imagine

Roberson grew heaps during the finals, if he does lead the 2nd unit he has the ability to carve up, just need 1 or 2 nice pieces to help him in return for a Waiters trade.

Waiters is a free agent. Have to give him a contract before we can trade him

Jay

Roberson is much more valuable playing with and against starters because of his defense.
