Because:
- Footywire usually takes a bit to update (2 or so days iirc)
- Usually off by a little bit (although negligible I'll admit)
- People can't be flowered going to another site when they're already on FF :P

Both sites are incorrect compared to SC Gold. They aren't to bad this week but I have seen them out by as much as 10 points sometimes.

nostradamus

with Marcus Adams looking likely to be back in this week, was curious about his BE (SC Gold)?

Hmm interesting... It's a guide anyway just for people who didn't know they existed.
Footywire I find really easy to use
But of course FF still #1 if montys listening

Haven't been out by more than 1pt all year.

Once I get out of uni with my stats degree and become unemployed I will attempt to do the same I reckon! More fun than paying for SC Gold ;)

I highly doubt that will happen but he may be nice :P also I think the BEs are relative to the prices of other players (which is why BEs for non playing players change week to week) so that means the 'equation' you speak of won't be very simple.

That's guess from my knowledge though, I haven't tried looking into it too much.

With Tooserious you can already enter a player's score mid-round and see what price they'll be though? Break evens also only out by about a point. Unless I'm misunderstanding

Yeah it pretty much does what Tooserious does, I've just added a few things.
One sheet allows you to compare different players (eg Hopper 193k @ 75ppg vs Mathieson 117K @ 65ppg, who will make more money etc)
The other sheet has a list of all my players and allows me to see their new price and BE as soon as the scores are finalized at the end of each game

I'll post my equations when i get home if anyone is interested, it really isn't anything special, I think I saw someone post it on here years ago.
I am a little surprised how accurate it's been considering I'm guessing the magic number each week (it varies a lot less that you think)
