What year did SuperCoach launch?

I'm having a mental blank and can't recall the first year SuperCoach launched. I remember playing it but it's been a while. Think it was launched for the 2006 or 2007 season off the top of my head but would love it if someone actually knew and could remind me! Cheers :)

It's a shame Virtual Sports don't archive the websites. It would be awesome if they kept the past overall ranks of your team for each year in your history or they published the best 100 teams for each year in a 'past leaders' section.

But no, new year starts and everything is wiped. It's pretty disappointing.
