Those tight ass French Open organisers and the French Government need to invest in a roof on their major courts.

Rain predicted all week means the schedule is in chaos and we could be playing beyond Sunday.

Djokovic has lost the first set against Bautista Agut.

Sam Stosur in a great position to beat Halep and move into the Quarter Finals being up a set and a break.

The tennis is now stopped for now due to a rain delay.

They don't play at night either do they? Lights and a roof or two would be nice :P

No they don't. They are back on court now. Stosur into the Quarter Finals

If Djokovic was to lose before meeting Ferrer (I haven't looked at the draw so don't know when that is), does anyone think Ferrer is a chance to win the whole thing? He could upset Andy Murray if needed I reckon :o Berdych is first for him though, he should win he has a good record over Tomas

Been watching a lot of Ferrer recently even in lead up tournament (not sure why). Has looked off his game regularly and I was kinda waiting for him just to lose in an "upset" in the French open. However, this hasn't happen, so yes I think he could be a chance with the big guns not being up to their game either

IMO he will beat Berdych but he is not playing well enough to win the French Open.

FWIW I am tipping Gasquet to make the final. His form clearly the best IMO of the bottom half of the draw. He was very impressive in beating Kyrgios and Nishikori. Murray is going ok but not great and Wawrinka has not been at his best either.

I still reckon Djokovic will be very had to beat.

Agreed, its borderline farcical. The Slam might not finish for another couple of weeks which throws out the whole calendar with Wimbledon now that fair away.

As for Stosur, amazing tennis. If only she played like this 60% of the time instead of 5% of the time she would be entrenched top 10. Really hope she can win this, think she's a big chance but not convinced she will.

As for Ferrer, I actually think Berdych will beat him. He's not looking 100% imo, possibly on the decline or possibly just in a rough form patch. I think Berdych will win tonight (pending rain) in 5.

There's at least 20% chance of rain during the day in Paris today, tomorrow and Friday. Clears up after that.

Even one stadium with a roof would really move things along, would allow them to play un-interrupted from 10am-12am like they do here on RLA.

Looks like things have gotten underway today, hopefully everyone gets on and the matches are quick :)

All aboard the Sam Stosur train :o Semi finals! Pironkova had a set point on her serve too in that 2nd set breaker!

Good stuff man. Maybe Ferrer is cooked.

Again wrong with a prediction of Murray's downfall. That match with Gasquet was brilliant in the first 2 sets - was the best quality I have seen at the French Open so far. Then after that Murray was way too good. Very impressive.

Stan did what he had to do and that sets up a Stan v Murray Semi-Final. Should be a cracker.

Good luck to Stosur but Muguruza is going to be a tough challenge.

If only I backed him for the win instead of backing him to win 1 set or more :'(

Geez, at the start of the French I picked Andy as my Winner.

After two "five setters", I thought that was going to be an awful pick.  :P

He still has an unbelievably hard road to the Final, Isner, Kei, but Rafa has certainly surprised many. There were virtually no rumors about any injuries in his wrist before RG.
He's still there!

Two unsurprising finals match ups. Wouldn't it be funny if Murray was the one to take The French away from Novak?

This whole tournament has just been survive and advance
