Can't see any good forward rookies on the horizon so going to use Petracca as a swinging cover in mids and forwards fir some cheap mid/forward spud.

The other option was to move on Mathieson a week early

Only 15 trades, but almost 400k in the bank, so I should leave myself with around 6-7 trades after the byes with a full team if all goes well.

Can go Davis to Hopper this week and hold my other trade. Then next week Oliver to Matho and Menadue to Dahl/Dusty.

Or this week I can do Oliver to Hopper and Bennedy to Dusty/Dahl. But means I keep Menadue, and lose Bennedy as cover.

Leaning towards the first option, short term pain for long term gain.

DPP is very seductive but I'm very hesitant to pick an 18 y/o in his first season. He could get 2-3 price rises but when the byes roll around there may be some issues. Based on his current average he'll be 217k in three weeks, not really enough for a downgrade and there's significant potential for him to be dropped.
