Is Mundy worth a look?

So does anyone other than myself think Mundy is worth a shot? I'm not so sure about this one, but there are effectively three reasons I think Mundy could average close to 110:

i) Freo should win close to every second game or so from here,
ii) Mundy has an extremely good SC history, and
iii) Lyon has suggested Mundy will spend some time in defence, and with his elite kicking and decision making, one suspects this would involve a rebounding and generally SC friendly role.

I am concerned that he may miss through injury or attract a tag as he loses a bit of speed and becomes a taggable kind of player, but nonetheless I'm taking this seriously. In effect I am deciding which of Mundy, Priddis, Gray, and SMitch is not going to be in my final mid setup (assuming Libba, who is putting in extremely good service, turns out not to be an m8 but an m9 or gets cashed in). Can anyone tell me to straighten out my bent thinking, or suggest which of those four I can survive without?

not too sure on your reasoning why do you say freo will win more than every second game from here! not likely! mundy will score better in the mids than defence!

more than every second game

In fairness I didn't say that at all, said 'close to' every second game! I am maybe just too bullish about a team that won the minor premiership dropping so badly - I think there's too much quality on the list and in the coaches box for Freo not to turn things around. Re Mundy I was thinking he might transition into a Shaw-like role though possibly with more mid time - like Boyd in a way, though Mundy is a far better kick than him

I don't consider Mundy to be a top 8 midfielder so that's why I won't get him. Plus Fremantle are very suspect at the moment...

Holz

Pridda I would have over him, playing for a better team, cheaper and more solid history. Sloane for not much more is the man though

Pulled the trigger on Sloane four weeks ago, zero questions over the little tackling pig's credentials in my mind  8)

Looked at Mundy for a minute or two but not considering him..

Yeah I'll have a look at him next year when he's a DEF/MID DPP

spudaroos

Ross seems to want to play him in defence. Wouldn't get anyone from Freo except Neale atm.

Just saw how cheap he is...very tempting. If he stays cheap for a bit longer, might get him soon as I'm not upgrading mids this week, and also really want Gray once he bottoms out.

BE is?
106 if Footywire is correct, someone who has SC Gold can verify this I'd imagine

Anyone Else interested with his next 5 weeks? I can see him playing loose in defence with abit on the ball. Could be a very handy POD?
