Trading Kerridge to Hopper for a 175-200k profit is a good deal IMO.

Yep, which is why I suggested it. Kedge is the only rookie I would trade for Hopper. Possibly Bennedy too actually

Not jumping on early myself but I see why you'd do it. Don't know who to trade to him the next week though. If I do what I'm planning, only options would be Menadue but that would give me no dpp in mids or just pay the 7k and get rid of Davis for him.

Well, that would be a first. Upgrading a rookie with another rookie whose played one game. I'll wait another week at that price. Definitely on the radar though.

Another 100 and I'll be bringing him in. The price isn't ideal as a downgrade won't net much and what usually takes 2 cashed up rookies to get a premium becomes 3.
The thing that makes him worth it though could be the better cover/ playing option he'll provide.

Smith ain't going anywhere, so do I trade Davis to Macpherson this week and net 84k or do I pass and do Davis to Hopper next week for an extra few K?

Reckon that might be better, because eventually I can downgrade Smith to Mathieson or Trengove at M10 and Hopper at M9

as much as i rate him he is just a few weeks too early. Im upgrading downgrading and he is just too pricey. If he was a F/M i would be all over it but ill have a fully upgraded mid soon so he would only cover one line. Happy with the inferiior Petracca coveinrg both lines instead for now.

would rather pick up a 450k fallen F/M to cover the lines. Or just keep kerridge to do that.

Another big score and he is in for sure, Hewitt is averaging in the 50's and Hopper will be a 30-40 point improvement on that. These are the guys I want around for the bye period.

Should we look to get Hopper in regardless next week? I'm planning my trades this week around grabbing him next week, but if he only scores 50 or so against Dogs he might not be the best option considering his price..
