Time to get rebellious and break the rules

Ablett and Barlow out

Zorko and Dusty in

It's a bold strategy cotton, let's see how that plays out for him! Not sure I think Dusty in is a great sideways for those out. Zork absolutley, but Barlow to Zork and hold Ablett seems more appealing to me...

My entire bench is out/injured... Laird, Adams, Barlow, Ablett, Brouch, Hall, Wells...

Thinking Barlow and Brouch out for Pendles and McPherson, good call?

I don't have mid DPP and 4 outs in my forward line, so this allows me to avoid 2 forward donuts and get DPP so I'm all for it :)

Strengthens up my forward line too, and soon enough I can swing Kerridge into the mids and upgrade him to a prem mid to replace GAJ

GAJ to Zorko is locked. Barlow can go to either Dusty or Montags and I'm leaning towards Dusty as Joey could miss a few and Dusty's last 3 with Lids back have been 100+

Thinking now,

Brown > Brand & Crouch > Priddis (Not comfortable fielding both Smith & Davis in the mids)  :-\

whynot102

Opinions please
1. Trade Adams to Trengrove Barlow to Sloane
2. Trade Barlow to Hopper then Ruggles to Docherty
3. Trade Ruggles to Brand Barlow to Treloar/Selwood etc

Option 3

GCSkiwi

I want to bring in Pendles this week, Crouch to MacPherson is locked, leaving me 362k.

The options I have to trade for Pendles would then be:
Oliver, Bennedy, DeGoey, Kerridge, Wells, Barlow, or Ablett.

Oliver, Bennedy and DeGoey all have achievable BE's

Kerridge has a high BE (70) but is still averaging better than that

Wells is a worry but is performing like a premo if he can get back on the park

Barlow who knows, Ross is killing us here. Rumour mill saying he may be a late in, but the way things are it could be one game only

Ablett I'm not really thinking of, though he has been disappointing and the shoulder is a worry...

Feels wrong to trade out a premo like Wells, Barlow before a rook... Who do I pick?!?  :(

Who comes on field if you don't trade Barlow/Wells?

One of MacPherson/Davis (probably MacP).

Yeah tricky. You can't really wait until Barlow's game to see if he is a late inclusion, because Pendles plays earlier. So I would lean towards getting rid of him. Too much uncertainty around whether he is best 22 for me.

Alternatively, if you are happy to play MacPherson then you still bring in Pendles this week and give yourself a chance to get both Wells & Barlow back next week which results in a stronger team. No guarantee though. Kerridge has probably peaked in price and isn't a keeper, so I would lean towards getting rid of him in this instance. Oliver would be my next option to get rid of, he doesn't have the tank to run out full games and is prone to sub-50's.

Gaz has concussion and should be back next week.  A week will freshen him up.  Barlow might be a late in.  I read Scott's statement RE: Wells; it was so wishy-washy that I traded Wells out straight away.  Same injury as last year and achilles can be problematic.

So, trade Wells if you can wait and see with Barlow.

Thanks guys. I think I'm down to tossing up Oliver and DeGoey. It's probably foolish to trade anyone who may be a keeper (ie Wells or Barlow) before canning a rook, and I reckon Kerridge has the best chance of making his BE of the three of them (Oliver, DG and Kerridge). Melb vs Brisbane, Collingwood vs Geelong, I reckon DeGoey could struggle the most there...

Yeah, as much as I love DeGoey, he probably has to go

I think Dusty played more midfield minutes because Cotchin was out and Cotchins back this week, so we'll soon find out.

I went:
Brown - Savage
Kerridge - DMAC

Decided to go with Savage over Docherty. Probably supporter bias, but I think the Saints will win more games than Carlton from here on so Savage should score better.
