Really depends on who you are downgrading and upgrading and amount of cash you require for the upgrade.  As an example if I downgrade Papley to McPherson I do not have enough to go Brown to Docherty, however if I downgrade Brown to Brand I have enough to go Adams to Docherty. So what I am saying is pricing needs to be considered as well.

Macpherson should get a fair crack at it, word is that Davis needs to work on his tank which explains why Rocket was using him as a small forward so Macpherson's superior tank should see him play a few games through the middle but you never really know with the Suns.

Brand looks to be playing a role down back and wouldn't expect much more than 60's from him when he plays. It's the Hawks so never a heap of confidence picking rookies, a few play a handful of games then back to Box Hill.

Of the 2 I'd say Mac has the slightly better JS and scoring potential.

Have a few trade options this week just waiting on Thursday teams to see what carnage I have to deal with, trades will be dictated by the best way to navigate the outs.

I don't really rate any of the downgrade options this week, and with another week of bloody carnage coming I'm thinking flower it - just go with 2 sideway trades

Feels wrong, because I ever rarely do them, but with Ablett, Barlow, Wells and a bunch of unreliable rookies like Brown and Papley I'm tempted to use 2 of my 30 on sideways

I like to think of them as corrective trades or team structure trades just sounds better thats what i keep telling myself

Agree McPherson should have the better JS for the next 2/3 weeks.  However you should prepare to trade him when some of the Suns injured players start to return. Ablet,  Riska, Miller and O'Meara may only be 3/4 weeks away.

I'm leaning towards Papley to Brand via some DPP shifting now. This moves Bartel to mids, meaning I can trade DBJ/Hartley to Hopper next week for a decent cash gain and another upgrade of Kerridge/Bennedy

With Adams, Laird, Ablett, Wells and maybe Hall and Barlow and Davis all missing - I think I'll ditch 2 of Wells and Barlow (if not selected) or Davis (if not selected) and get a genuine premium and a rookie.
