I'm purposely throwing this in early this week as I think we are spoiled for midfield rookie inclusions and can perhaps help each other a little in the way we handle them.
A lot of us brought Keays in this week who had who had 16 posessions for 76 points. McPherson is on the bubble next week and he had 18 posessions for 59 points in a side that was soundly thrashed. And then a young kid called Hopper has 32 posessions for 106 points in his first game. My problem here is that my midfield is:-
Hannerbury,   Parker,   Pendlebury,   Dangerfield,   Jelwood,   Ablett,   Cripps,   Liberatore /// J Smith,  J Gresham,  B Keays
My forward line is:-  D Martin,  A Hall,  M Barlow,  Zorko,  Wells,  Papley,  /// Milera,  Petracca.
So after threatening to trade the little champ out for the last 3 weeks I see my only possible trades as :-
Out Ablett   in  Dahlhaus    Out either Papley Milera or Wells,  Dahlhaus goes forward and McPherson goes in the mids. Been a bit long winded but what have you got in mind   ?   ?   ?   ?                      ;)

Simple for me I think as it stands right now.

McCarthy -> Priddis
Davis ->  Macpherson

GOT to deal with Brown and Papley but

LF

Possibly Menadue to MacPherson
Then upgrade somewhere I guess

GoLions

Probably upgrade two of Brown, Crouch, Menadue

McPherson in not sure for who,  paps/brown/davis/hewett/adams   then upgrade to one of ward/priddis/pendles
alternative would be grab hopper but can wait another week.    davis is p´´ing me off.   but him to hopper would be sideways trade.

I'm currently 66 years young, fit, healthy and still 20 at heart. With out a doubt Gazza is the best player I have seen in all those years. Leigh Mathews the next. But I think that Garry is still having leg problems so out he goes. But only with the proviso that I keep a trade to bring him back if he comes good. ie gets fully fit and un- injured again.  Nobody is saying much about him, any thoughts ??     :-[ :'( ;)

can understand why you would want to but gaz still keeps getting 100Å›  luxury trade.    You planning on pendles or parker or hanners avging 30 ppw more than GAZ.     in five weeks that would pay for the trade.    not worth the trade given upgrade of roooks to full team as primary goal atm.       hang in their sabretooth

Big Mac

Papley --> MacPherson
Brown --> anyone, I want to get a mid but Ward/Selwood/Parker/Gray all will have relatively high BE's and Rocky isn't even playing. Might just have to overpay for someone

He's not the Gazza we know and love that's for sure and the little incident right at the end todays game doesn't fill me with confidence for next week, he looked pretty sore. He's not the worst of my problems though at the minute sadly.

Haha yeah, grabbed Keays and Petracca this week, and gonna grab Hopper in 2 weeks and skip Macpherson next week.

Or that's the plan at least :P

I'm going with
Weitering >>> Zerrett or Montagna via dpp
Hewett >>> McPherson

On a side note Re Gaz Jnr, surely you don't trade!
The guy has had a poor last 5 weeks by his standards but still averaging 99.4 with scores of 100, 102, 99, 109 and 82 over that time.
But remember, we are in peak upgrading season so side trading a star like Gaz who will more than likely have a break and then bounce back to the 120+ scoring by seasons end seems a silly sideways trade.
I can see the sense if you had no issues on the field to fix but let's be frank, no one has a 22 prem starting team yet and won't do so until 4-5 weeks time.
Currently, Ablett is around 550k so you'd be going to a Hanners type who can go 120+ fie the rest if the year, losing 50k on the deal, burning a trade and missing out on improving your team in different areas.
Remember, this time if the year you should be doing one upgrade one downgrade per week.. Not luxury sideways trade.
HOLD!

That would of left a decent war chest for you mate, are you not keen on McPherson.
Missed Keays but got Petracca and did a upgrade moving Barlow to the bench.
Keays JS had me a little concerned and to be honest so does McPhersons but I think i'll need to grab him or i'm going to fall further behind if I can't get some upgrades in.

Kicking myself about Keays but you simply can't get them all. I've nailed DBJ, Byrne, Petracca, Smith and I like McPherson next week.
Such a fine balance between getting in fallen prems and getting in gun rookies.
Remember though, there are still the likes of Matheison, Dunkley, Trengrove in the mids that are cheap and should get plenty of games in the run home

RaisyDaisy

MacPherson and Zerrett in

2 of Davis, Papley, Bennedy, Brown will make way
