Hey guys, I just wanted to get your thoughts on GAJ. I have him, have had him since day 1 and he is looking extremely ordinary and doesn't look to be improving at all.

He is currently in over 50% of teams, and is averaging around 85 over last 3 and 94 over the last 5.

Would it be a good move to move him and try someone who is performing?

Thinking someone like Coniglio, who is in 1.5% of teams and averaging 120+ over the last 3 games. Looks to be breaking out in a massive way?

Thoughts?

:)

 ::) Serious?

Yeah the guy isn't putting up "Ablett" numbers, but the guy is putting up solid premo numbers.  Take a look at his scores, 134, 97, 124, 83, 91, 90, 82, those last 4 being in solid losses.  Yeah we were expecting more, but those are solid numbers, until he gets injured he'll be staying in my team.

If you don't have any other players that need sorting out, then yeh, sure, switch ablett into a more in form mid....

But I expect Gary to come back and start hitting those 110 plus scores again before too long.

Even if he scores in the 90-110 bracket.... you could possibly find another mid that might score on average... 10? 20 points more then that at most...

I'm sure you can get more output then a 10-20pt improvement per round elsewhere.

WhatMate

If you honestly can't find anything else wrong with your team, I don't see why making a trade to an inform POD is a bad thing. Although it could come back to bite you in the ass.

GOOD: Eade says Gaz will get more midfield time v GWS. BAD: He says don't judge him on stats http://trib.al/bF9G3uz

Yeah fair call guys. I just have no other pressing matters and there is no standout downgrade options at the moment.

I just looked at it as he is seriously underperforming, and with over 50% having him it could be a good chance to move up the ranking a little bit and then get him back after the byes if he improves.

Ahhh think ill leave it though haha  :-[

if you have no other issues, then do it

henry

Yeah definitely worth it man if you haven't got any other issues, he's coming up against GWS who have been hard to score against too, so why not. Could always get him back if he starts scoring decently again.

Ive got enough problems trying to avoid a donut this week (got one bench player playing lol) to even think about getting rid of him. suspect some other might be in a similar position.

I have no dramas with you doing it if you've got no other issues, he's far from his best and like henry said you can always get him back when/if he fires up. The thought has crossed my mind but other dramas are keeping him safe at the minute.

Cheers for the feedback guys :) I will decide later tomorrow if I risk it haha :)

Thanks all

fanTCfool

I had traded him out prior to the carnage this week, holding for now.

Sleeping on it always helps, all the best with whatever you decide to do. Make sure you use those trades though don't waste any by not using them. Can still make cash.

Thats what im thinking, to be honest I will probably hold him and try a cash grab elsewhere as I know regardless I will need to get Ablett back in, the champ wont stay in this sort of form all year.

Ahhh fantasy sports, if only we could see into the future haha!

Thanks man!

No worries champ, if rookies aren't to your liking then a prem with a huge BE to someone whose going to make some coin and flip them back next week is one way, just keep the cash flowing.

WhatMate

Just quietly, if I had the privileged of being able to trade him out, which I dont (see my thread  :'( ) I'd be bringing Congilo, the guy is killing it and less than 15k more than GAJ with less than 2% ownership and a BE of 60 :o He could really move you up the rankings if that's what youre after.
