Anyone thinking of bringing him in? Priced at $447k seems a steal and got a awesome 5 weeks coming up and will get 150 this week against freo. Will sit at F5 for now. Wanted to do backline repairs but he seems a steal? Roughy back soon to

certainly a steal, im struggling to chose between Dusty or Gunston +70k

Im not sure they smash Freo and then they have Sydney, albiet at the MCG.

then im expecintg big stuff against lions, dees and essendon.

I'm a big fan, but I think he won't be Top 8 material. Will be close though, but Zerrett at 477k a better pick I think

what do you think about using that extra cash.

Basically its Gunston + Ward v Dmart + Priddis.

that 70k could go a long way to getting the best of the best on another line.

The next 3 weeks for Hawthorn are against Freo, Sydney and Brisbane whom Gunston averaged 101.75 against in 2015

Then the Dees who he has a career average of 98 against (albeit 1 game only), then Essendon who he could go massive in, then North Melbourne (career SC average 103) and Gold Coast at Etihad (career average 99) before the Hawks bye which for my team will be valuable as I don't have a lot of round 15 bye players.

Coming off back to back 100+ scores with a low BE. Is very cheap and should be scoring before the bye in games Hawthorn will win.  Very likely to be in my side this week.

For me the deciding factor against is yet another prem with a Rd 15 bye which I can not afford. Have 8 at the moment.

Lowest 5 scores in 2015 and so far this year are

22
61
39
58 and
48

Too erratic

enzedder

Decided on him and Petracca as my go to trades when I realised I couldn't afford Boyd for Mills and McCarthy when lockout ended.
Of the cheaper options Gunston is clearly the best pick. Merrett is a consideration but at the price can't go past Gunston. Money in the kitty will be helpful next trade.

Samm79

Brought him in last week, too cheap to ignore a 95+ player and as mentioned he scores well against the upcoming teams. The extra coin is very handy too

thats what makes him cheap. if you go for overall who cares what he scores each week its just average. Its why he is 430k but still averaging 90.

If i had Dmart he would be in this week. Plus he was injured with a broken hand last year which explains some of the scores.

Bye is the one thing that will keep me from picking him.

HotTiges

Im looking at him but geez he can chuck a stinker up once in a while

Bully

With guys like Kerridge averaging 85 I just don't see the point in Gunston. You either grab a 100+ scorer or strengthen other lines.
