Absolutely no flowering idea what to do

I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I have Adams and Laird out in Def, and Wells, Barlow and McCarthy out in Fwd.

Originally, I was going to go Mills -> Jelwood and McCarthy -> Petracca. But with the carnage, that would leave me with 7 premo mids, but no Fwd or Def emergencies this week.

If I go McCarthy -> Petracca, Adams -> Boyd, I at least have an E in Def.

Or do I keep Adams and trade out MacKenzie (WCE) as Adams has still been scoring ok?

Yeah same here, i am fielding a full team with coverage (Few to many rookies on the field) but might hold for this week, was hoping for Tucker to be named, still might go Davis > Keays but then again not sold on that trade that only net's around $70K

As long as you can field afull team I wouldnt worry about the 0s. Nne of your outs are long term so just get the mid to make your full strength team as good as it can be and risk no emergency for a week.

Priddis, Gray, Shiel, Zaha, Viney, Neale.      Get best value at the time on the assumption all will score approx same use dollars and BE as decision criteria.     Recommend Mills up to mid premo.   Remember Priddis is hardly a mid premium good chance to avg 110+ for rest of the year.  Gray could go 120+ and is going to drop in price this week again so hold till next week for him.

Have managed to get 22 on field and can loophole both McGovern and Ruggles tonight but have no mid E because Gray is parked up there with Barlow who I moved there to field Menadue.

Have a crapload in the kitty now after downgrading McCarthy to Petracca so thinking about upgrading Mills maybe not entirely sure yet.

Agree, sometimes you have to take risks in this caper, emergency cover isn't critical for one round. How often do you really need it in the early rounds, it's not that often but yes it does happen. I wouldn't be changing plans to ensure I have bench cover for one week that's just giving in to fear of a donut which probably wont happen anyway.
I ran with Laird and Rance on the bench last week and nothing bad happened, could of but didn't, later rounds I would of worried alot but not early rounds yeh it's a risk but a small one. Plan for success don't plan for a failure, who dares wins.

Should I go De Goey for Simpson, or Houli for Simpson? Don't think De Goey is a keeper, saw this as a good week to get rid of him as it re-opened a DPP with the backline, as wells as providing coverage for one of my injuries. Thoughts?

Agree DeGoey isn't a keeper so him to Simpson for me then assess Houli next week when all the info is in on him.
If any info comes through on Houli prior to the trade needing to be done that suggests it will be a long term injury then flip what i said around.

Option 1: Menadue to Keays.
Means banking some cash (albeit not very much) and bringing in another cash maker. Also leaves cash to bring in any premo next week.

Option 2: Adams to Boyd
Probably earlier than I had considered trading Adams but it means being able to field a prem over Ruggles/Brown.

Any advice lads?

Option 2, not sure Keays will be in the Lions team long enough to earn the coin making that trade worthwhile.
