Any objections to the following?

I have a full def bench with Laird and Adams.

Stuck with gimps Simpkin and Milera.

So this week

OUT Milera and Simpkin

IN Petracca and ??McVEIGH

Other I could afford ($514000) include Blicavs (but have Goldmartin R1/2) Scully Priddis JZ Zerrett Gaff BUDDY Pittard and Docherty.

I figure McVeigh is a good price now and should be a keeper defender.

Yep. Another reason to get a defender this week.

Shaw Bartel Laird McVeigh Adams a bevy of Bombers BJ and EMcK - can sit on this line for a while now I think.

Hewett>Ward (4k short of hanners/selwood) (no mid/fwd dpp left in the midfield  >:( )
BenKen> Zorko

I already have Shiel in the mids so not overly keen on Ward, especially with wanting Selwood and Hanners in there eventually and maybe Gray or Beams if they come good (3 spots left)

Benken is good for more money so maybe a bit premature trading him out so soon?

Adams may only miss one week and has been pretty good as a filler down back (and D/F DPP has been handy if you have one of the others with  it).

Agree that Selwood, Hanners might be better than Ward but not by a lot. 2 of same team on same line doesn't seem to matter.

Worth loading up the mid with with Mills > any mid (640k) (Will only have 1 rookie left on field in mid)

or

stabilising a weak defence through Adams/tipunwuti > Simpson?  ( After will have 2 rookies on field in def)

Yeah i started with petracca which is annoying me now!

I could do menadue to Zorko but this leaves me with Benken and petracca on the benched only 50k in bank.

I've got Brown to cover Adams for the week but no dpp up forward anymore.

Maybe Menadue to Zorko/Merret this week and hold of on Ward for the moment

Are the any good forward rookies coming through soon?

Mills to Petracca locked and will most likely be offloading McCarthy.

Really unsure on the 2nd trade but if Mathieson is named this week it will either be a FWD/DEF premo via Adams (otherwise may need to double down and bring in Keays).

Current lines:
DEF: Shaw, Simpson, Bartel, Hartley, Brown, McTip (Laird, Adams)
FWD: Hall, Franklin, Robinson, Wells, Kerridge, Papley (McCarthy, Menadue)

I have $533,700 to spend and looking at either Dusty or McVeigh, wish I had enough for Zorko/Dahl. Need to weigh up after team announcements and decided where I don't want cover and which rookie I don't want to field (currently assuming Wells is rested this week against ESS).

I'd rather keep Kerridge than LMc this week.

Sheridan isn't a keeper so might as well grab McVeigh / Docherty if it means keeping Kerridge a bit longer - at least he is useful

I have 52k in the bank, i am 100% trading Mills - Keays but am tempted to trade Oliver - Zorko aswell  :-\

This will leave me with 7k  ;D

Oliver has a b/e of 51 while Zorko has a b/e of 111.... Is it worth holding another week?

Still have Menadue and Davis lurking around aswell but they hold very little value at the moment.

With Wells Barlow Rocky Laird et al all out can you afford to keep McCarthy.   Would do second option and grab McVeigh or Doc

I was all set to bring in a def premo this week, to cover Laird and Adams (Adams swung fwd). Now Barlows out I either have no cover fwd or back. So now it's between McVeigh and Zorko? Leaning towards Zorko as McVeigh will probably drop a few more dollars.

With Micky B out I'm thinking I might still just stick to the game plan.

Watch the Rug on Friday night, if he does a poo, I'll trade in Docherty.  If he doesn't, go for either JJK or Lynch. 

I'll just pull out the big Cox as a F U to this season and play him for Micky.
