Ruined a game between two great teams, umps.

Also, how flowering slow is Scott Thompson.

You could say he cost you the game with 6 frees against as well.

Bont scaling to go through the roof now.

He didn't go up much but finally my punt on him a few weeks ago paid off. 140 pre scaled

Yep he was terrible. His strategy of pausing for a minute then handballing backwards 30 centimetres to no one is starting to backfire too.

The pace of the game was too much for him tonight. A number of times he was caught in possession and a lot of clumsy tackles as well.

He had a poor game tonight but he would be very close to leading Adelaide's B+F at the moment.

Very up and down as is most of that Doggies side. I have him in draft. I think he got about 18 points from kicking the goal. But we will see what the final scaling does he had a great last qtr too.

The Free Kick differential was bigger than the winning margin. ::)

Yeah I agree, he still is a very consistent player, but didn't have a good one tonight which I'm sure he would admit himself.

Troy Pannell's free kick count tonight was 17-1, in favour of Bulldogs... How is that possible... Seventeen to one!!

The flog is a Dogs fan as well! How the flower is that allowed to happen, he even patted Stringer on the ass during the flowering game. Flowering pathetic, flower the AFL.

Honestly though, the umpiring was terrible all round. Plenty of shocking calls both ways. I genuinely wouldn't have noticed free kick count was as bad as it actually was if the stat hadn't come up during the broadcast and the commentary team didn't make note of it (at that point it was like 17-5 or something).

That's the opinion of a neutral supporter on this umpiring situation.

As far as the game went, another super game. Both clubs have been involved in some beauties so far this season. Dogs just played that little bit better imo. Their midfield seemed to be on top (evident in the clearances and contested possies). If Eddie and Tex got into more (1 goal between them, although Eddie gave off a few), could have been a different story. Both were reasonably well held by the Dogs though.

Plenty to look forward to for both sides who seem to be on track for finals, plenty of positives to come out of the game like Jenko, what a gun!

The cow has done the last 3 Dogs games and they've won the free kick count 75-38... How is that allowed to happen.

Only positive is that the over-correction from the umpiring department should see Adelaide with a decent run at it this week when ol' mate Danger comes to town.
