I'll cop the donut. If he does miss this week, and he only misses this one game for the rest of the season, I don't think the trade is worth it, especially if the guy I trade in only scores like 40 points. Whereas upgrading Bennedy to Gray should make me around that, potentially more.

Goosey

I have Hickey in the forward line.

And BenKen is prob going to lose cash whilst Gray may even go up. Win win.

Yep pretty much.

Definitely the doughnut  ( is that the correct spelling or am I very ancient and old fashioned, one for you to answer Doc )
If I were to trade I'd be very tempted with Majak Daw,  Goldy's replacement who scored 97 last round and comes in at $243,600.  Cheers.                        ;)

Daw is actually a smart choice. Any game Goldy misses, Daw will play instead so it's very safe. I just can't justify spending nearly 250k for a guy to sit on my bench all year

Then you're screwed lol

Majak Daw? Seriously?
He played the bombers in an experiment in playing 4 talls up forward (inc Brown, Waite and Petrie)
He kick a few goals, took some contested marks and then was dropped the week after.
I can barely see Majak scoring 70 IF Goldy is out.
And then what? Goldy comes back in the week after, Majak is dropped and you have a spud worth $247k on your bench fir the rest of the year..

I'm gobsmacked with how many are not prepared for a ruck being out and copping a donut.. There was only ever going to be a slim chance that both rucks play all games...

Tippett is marginally overpriced but does average 94 which is more than ok to sit at F6 for a few weeks...

i don't have backup. but have a plan in place goldy is out

Defiantly  :P  prefer doughnut to donut.

Donut is so American and associated with Dunkin' Donuts. Talk about dumbing down.

With regards trades this week, I would love to go Benken (about to start haemorrhaging cash) to Wingard but would need Wingard to be DPP to make me do it.

I don't have cover and frankly not worried at loosing 60-100 pts at this stage. Why you may ask?
There's still 11 rounds to go in the year after this week, plenty of time to catch up on the missed points..

For example..

Tippett is averaging 94 but likely to go around 100 this week against GC
If you trade in Tippett this week your stuck with him and a 90-95ppg player for the rest of the year.
If you trade in a Sinclair for example - he may get you a 60..
If you trade in a Dalhaus you're getting a guy that will likely average 100-110 from here to home

So basically, getting in Dahlaus at f6 over a Tippett will be a 10-20pt gain per week for 11 weeks.. That's 100-220pts over that time..

It's simply not worth sacrificing your team at this stage in order to cover you for one week..
Admittedly Gawn, Nic Nat, Goldy etc could all miss a few weeks here and there.. But 1 week at this time of the year is hardly disastrous

FYI - Maybe a Sinclair at $310k is a better option as your not loosing a lot from a M.Brown at $300k and you can have him as bench cover. But for me, Tippett especially, is a no go

Can everyone stop jumping on the Tippett train?

I started him with this exact purpose of having him be a F7/R3 swing and now he's not going to be unique.

Yeah but at least you're not burning a trade or jeopardizing your trade stratergy ☺️
