Last night wasnt overly interesting, kinda "disappointed" that Cersei didnt kill Tyrion, now that, right at the end would have set people off!!

lol they've been awful, this writing and plot have ruined the show

Just asking because I'm curious to know - but what exactly has been so bad that it's ruined everything?

Yesterday's ep was pretty subtle, but you can't have jam packed action every single week. This is the problem - they've set the bar so high that they cannot please the masses now because it's near impossible. I know a lot people initially reacted poorly to the battle episode, but that's usually just people who get butt hurt that their own theories etc didn't play out and they went a different way etc - can't be any other reason, because the production and how that all played out was amazing

I haven't minded too much but there were a few things I wondered about in the last episode

- How did no one spot Euron's ships when Dany is flying above on her dragon
- Why did Dany get so close to the gates when Cersei could've just easily reigned fire and ended it
- Why is Sansa so dumb
- How does Euron go 3/3 on Rhaegal but then his entire fleet misses Drogon whilst flying towards them
- Why do the dragons not have armour
- How did Euron find Missandei and immediately know she was hostage worthy

I just watched that entire video

Gold!  ;D

HAHA!! that is highly entertaining!! I brought up a few of those issues when I was watching, like the use of cavalry and the whole, lets stand outside and face off against 1 million zombies, and the ice dragon that can destroy walls one minute, but cant destroy a rock when its convenient!!

But its called suspension of disbelief. You cant wander around and analyse everything backwards like that, it isnt real life, its a tv show.

But is probably is best summed up in that vid when he suggests that is exactly what game of thrones wasnt to start with.

Nothing was sacred, no one was safe, but now everyone survives and the point is..... ??

anyway, like I said, I think it would have been better if cersei had killed Tyrion and certainly think if George RR marches Tyrion up to a wall like that then he would be dead!!

So, you're telling me once the war was basically already won, the Lannister forces had surrended, Dany just loses it cause of some bells? D&D really wanted the Mad Queen huh, massive reach.

Also, cannot believe they did my boi Jaime like that, ruined his whole character arc by going back to Cersei; and where the flower did Euron come from, that was so unnecessary, should've just been killed by Drogon earlier, it's not like him stabbing Jaime mattered, Jaime killing him is another one into the box of stupid fan service.

Trash death for Cersei and Jaime as well.

TomK

Oh and how useless were the Golden Company, all that hype about them to be killed off in 5 seconds ::)

Arya apparently absorbed the Night King's power when she killed him as well, no other way to explain her surviving all that ::)

Same issue as last week with Rhaegal's death, how many ships were there with scorpions but not one could hit Drogon this episode, not to mention all the others around the wall too ::)

Can't wait for Jon to kill Dany next week, calling it now ::)

Gigantor

You knew Daenerys was going to go nuts when the previously segment had that bit at the end with the all Targaryen comments over the shot of her with the crazy eyes haha

And yeah I agree Cersei and Jamie dying like that was pretty shower

Qyburns death was a bit quick but I guess there's too many characters for them all to have epic ends.

Didn't mind the outcome of Clegane Bowl, there was never going to be a happy ending for Sandor

No Idea how it ends, will be pissed if Arya kills Daenerys

No flowering elephants was the problem!

RaisyDaisy

Jamie and Cersei dying together, and Sandor/Gregor dying together were pretty predictable I thought? At least I always expected it

Jamie and Cersei came into this world together, and were going to leave it together, afaik, and you couldn't have 1 Clegane beat the other outright - falling into fire of all things was meaningful too

As for Daenerys going full nutjob after they had surrendered, that's really not hard to believe too. She didn't do it because of the bells LOL she could see Cersei in the Red Keep which was previously her families, and on top of that everyone who was close to her has either betrayed her or been killed - all explained after the episode and makes complete sense

Of course there is going to be plenty of BS and "convenient" things that happen, it's a TV show after all - I know there's a lot of stretching but I don't let that sort of stuff ruin it for me. So what, it's still a good spectacle to view

Arya having a horse conveniently there at the end was pretty lol though

100% Jon kills Dany next week for what she's just done - and I expect she probably kills Tyrion before that too

Can only see the Starks and probably Davos surviving pretty much (outside of those who aren't there atm such as Sam etc)

TomK

Geez you're easily pleased.

I was fine with Sandor and Gregor dying together, not Jaime and Cersei though, as I said, completely contradicts and ruins his whole character arc. Imagine S1E1 characters being killed by a pile of rocks, tuuuuuuuurrible.

She saw Cersei in the Red Keep from the whole other end of the city? That's some amazing eyesight :o But that's still not a reason to murder thousands of innocents, just go straight to the Red Keep then, the job was done, take out the anger on the actual enemies. Yes, it was all explained, explained by D&D who have shown complete incompetence and inconsistency when writing with no source material.

Convenient isn't what GoT is meant to be.
