I just don't udnerstand why she didn't tell him the knights of the vale were coming though.

She obviously didnt want him to go there without them, but I find it really unlikely little finger would just rock up without telling her he was coming.
Same man, found that bit strange
Because if Ramsay sees the Knights of the Vale before the battle has started, he retreats into Winterfell with his men and it's basically GG, and LF probably wouldn't have agreed to show up early on as well. He would have wanted both sides to be weakened so that he has all the power at the end.

that would make sense if a) Sansa knew anything about military strategy (which by her own admission she doesn't)
and b) if she hadn't explicitly told Jon to wait until they had more men.

Tbh I'm not sure if Sansa even knew that LF and co. would show up, but was more hoping that they would. So she probably didn't want to tell him that they *might* show up.

Also, I would say that Sansa is a lot better at strategy now than a lot of people would give her credit for. She was with LF for ages, arguably the best strategist in Westeros. She would have learned a thing or two from him.

See, that's what I think- I don'tthink Sansa knew LF would show up.... that's what doesn't make sense to me though, I don't see why he wouldn't tell her, that doesn't make sense from his part. Like if they'd attacked a day earlier by the time he got there they'd all be dead. And, tbh, you'd tell him if there was even some chance LF would come with the knights of the vale.

I'm just saying what she said herself- she has no military experience.

Toga

Didn't Sansa tell LF to go and get flowered, she didn't want anything to do with him? Iirc anyways.

Why did Rickon have to die :'(

Not sure if I'm missing something here...but Sansa was trying to get Jon to hold off because she knew there was a chance that LF would turn up to back them during the battle.  She kept the "asking" part from Jon, but don't think she knew that LF's army would turn up when it did to save the day.  Think this was the best scenario, because if LF had turned up a day earlier Ramsey would've caught wind of this and backed out of the battle and stayed in lockdown, which would require Jon et al to storm the castle (who knows if this would've ended better or not).

Also Sansa would have learnt a fair bit of cunningness from her time with Ramsey.

Wouldn't be surprised if Rickon was a fake Rickon either...surely there is more to his character than a poor storyline followed by an arrow through the heart.  Rickon never learned to strafe. :(

This is all coming from someone who doesn't have a huge knowledge of the GoT universe, so I might have a different perspective.

Interesting to think if there's a link here... Rickon's direwolf WAS (:() named Shaggydog

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaggy_dog_story

"An extremely long-winded anecdote characterized by extensive narration of typically irrelevant incidents and terminated by an anticlimax or a pointless punchline"

Ziplock

Nah, that was definitely Rickon... he never served any purpose as a character anyway- that's how they would kill him.

I just a) don't know why Sansa wouldn't tell Jon that LF  might be coming and let him decide what to do from there
b) why LF wouldn't tell Sansa if he was coming or not

RaisyDaisy

Maybe it was just fortunate luck that LF rocked up when he did?

Last we saw of him Sansa told him to get flowered so he did, and then went to tit sucking kid to get his troops because he knew he could use them to help win Sansa back by getting them to help take back Winterfell

I'm sure we'll find out next week

And as for Rickon, yeah he was a nothing character. No real loss

One of my roommates works for a music company thing (I don't really know how to explain it :P ) but one of the things they get is sent sound tracks from various movies/ tv shows...

He opened the GoT sound track they got sent on Wednesday and apparently the title of the last track was a masssssive spoiler. He's not a dick so he didn't tell us what it was, but he's pretty annoyed with himself because he's normally really careful with stuff like that :P

I've got a feeling Dany heads towards Westoros in tomorrow's episode.

And what's all this talk of KL burning down?
